Firstly I've a sneaking suspicion that Simon's "10,000 people" reference last night will probably be on the optimistic side even if spread over both nights; apparently plenty of tickets still available. Secondly is it really a great place for a final?

I think the area is too big and will lend itself, much like the audition stages, really only to shouty ballads. I'd much prefer if they kept the final in the studios nearby or maybe transfer it to a smaller theatre such as the Palladium or the one on Drury Lane that would still make it special and give it a much different and grand atmosphere but would also due to its comparative size with Wembley, still allow them to maintain a studio-level of control over the sound meaning that there's at least a chance of something other than a power ballad (at least from any contestant not called RnB)
