Hi, We bought a new HDR 2000T yesterday. The user guide says:

GotoMENU > HUMAX TV PortalandselectREG. CODE..
Theregistrationcodeisvalidfor3hours

We can get the code from the portal ok but how do I get to the 'Humax server' to enter the Reg Code? We've logged into the myhumax.net website but can't see where to enter the Reg Code.

Apologies if this has been answered before but 'Search this forum' doesn't work on my android tablet.

The registartin code is requested as part of setting up a new account on www.myhumax.net.

To set up a new account click the light grey 'New Account' caption just below the Sign-In button top right.

Some points to make though:
(1) If you do not register and link an account your HDR-2000T will still work as well (or for some as badly) as it did before;
(2) Registering and linking an account does not provide you with anything else you can do with the HDR-2000T - but I suppose Humax may have changed something recently!;
(3) If you really want to provide Humax with your details without anything in return then you can generate another 3 hour code if you missed the previous 3 hour slot.
