I'm sorry but your version of party latin is not how it needs to be as we've seen this series with Helen in samba, for example. I haven't blamed Anton 100% but giving a novice with deficiencies in latin to a standard ballroom specialist whose latin leaves a lot to be desired is a contribution to Katie's party latin dances. How much depends upon the dislike of Anton. I attribute 60% of the blame to him and it was him who forgot their salsa routine and not Katie, who was then thrown into a terrible and unrehearsed lift.

No, because he could clearly do a really good one. He's an excellent dancer who would cope fine with a samba as he's proved himself a brilliant latin dancer. Katie has not. She is rubbish at latin. She would have scored poorly doing a samba, so has been let off with an easy dance. I remain disgusted.

thrilled that Katie has Charleston and Waltz. She should do well in both and get to the final. I have wanted Anton in the final for a few years and now she has the easiest Ballroom and Latin can see this year being the year i get what i want. her samba would have been dreadful and if hers was good antons would have been awful

You've exactly proved my point! Shouldn't a couple get there on merit and earn their place in the final? I don't want to watch a couple who have got there through a carefully selected order of dances, enabling them to miss the most difficult one of all, just so Anton can be in the final. This show isn't about the pros it's about the celebs. It's ironic that when Katie signed up for the show she said the dance she most wanted to learn and perform was the samba. If I didn't dislike her so much I could almost feel sorry for her. Her samba dream went down the plughole as soon as she was partnered with Anton.

I'm sorry you are being utterly illogical. All the dancers are permitted to drop one dance if they go all the way. It is exactly the same rule for each dancer and their Pro selects the one that would be least advantageous for them to do. So the same rule has been applied to each contestant and nobody has been let off anything.

Well we'll never know because his pro just like Katie's pro has decided it would be the best dance for them to not do. I am making the point that it is illogical to complain that Katie isn't doing the samba when other dancers have also chosen not to do it.

Jay and Katie have done exactly the same latin dances thus far so to say that Katie's had an easier ride than Jay is ridiculous. I almost agree with previous post but dont think she will be in the DO Anita and Kellie I think will be because the Anton fans will go nuts voting for him to get in the final so i think they will have enough support to get through. I also think she will smash both dances and avoid the bottom of the leaderboard. I will be shocked and would almost ear my hat if they are in the DO Anton fans like me will vote loads and loads to get ADB to the final. if they are there though they will do the Waltz as i think that will get from len and bruno 10's 8 Craig and 9 Darcey the Charleston will get 8,9,9,9 to give them 72
