The B3 version at Argos has the newer faster 1.7GHz "octo-core" processor - the Currys one is a slightly older model with the 1.3GHz Quad-core. Otherwise pretty much the same, screen, memory etc...

Almost certainly they are the same; although Currys mention that their model has a quad-core processor, they also mention that it is the MT8151 which is an octo-core CPU, so one of those two facts is incorrect. Argos mention in their specs-list it has 32GB of storage, despite the model name clearly stating 16GB.
It would suggest both of them have quickly copied and pasted specs from somewhere on the manufacturer's site without checking their accuracy (possibly older/different models). The manufacturer (Acer) from what I can tell has only one specification of Iconia One 10" tablet, so both are probably identical. As they are the same price, I'd go with Argos as their advertised specs are higher and closer to the truth, and they have an excellent refund policy if the device doesn't live up to what you expected. |

Thanks for the replies. The one in Argos is out of stock in all stores and also for delivery I think. Was thinking of getting the one from Currys but unsure whether to wait and see it becomes available in Argos. May have gone up in price though.
