Simon and Leona are on good terms and thy have constantly referenced Louisa and Leona throughout this year . Leona has an incredible voice and relevancy has nothing to do with it. She is a mantle for the show

I think in this case you may be wrong.

I am not sure the duet would happen, but I have to say I sort of agree that it would actually make a lot of sense, given the amount of times Louisa has mentioned being 8, watching the show and wanting Leona to win, also she mentioned how the dream started when she watched Leona and how she is a huge fan of Leona.

This actually really makes Leona VERY relevant. Plus, she is still the biggest winner the show has ever really had. If the show bosses want to keep any of the very little credibility it still has (if any), it should not matter how well Leona is currently doing and in fact, thinking outside the BOX, Simon and co would be very stupid to completely ignore and disregard Leona, even though she is no longer signed to him. She is still one of their very few chances at making the show seem like it achieved what it set out to, which was finding a world wide star. So I think in a way, they should hope she can get her career back on track, and they even might want to help nudge it up a little. That way regardless of which label she is with, the show still has her to reference as a success worldwide! If she disappears, then they only have One Direction really! No one else has made it on a world scale apart from these 2 acts.

Leona and Simon are on good terms, a few months after she left the label he sent her a note saying they missed her at the label and he publicly wished her well.

Last month Simon was awarded at an awards ceremony dedicated to him for his contributions to music and Leona performed at the event amongst other Syco acts, they are clearly still very friendly.

This is a good shout. I've found it very odd the way that they keep bringing up Leona in a lot of Louisa's VTs. Is Louisa genuinely a Leona fan?

I've not considered the idea that they might be building her up to duet with her in the final. That could be incredible.
