If you think it is bad manners to explain her limitations then you must think it is bad manners for a teacher to educate.

^ I recommend you try out the misplaced sarcasm and frosted dance glasses on the Anita AT post-mortem thread- we do remember her

(None of my business but this was a Goodbye thread for Helen!
Seems a shame to fight on it when there's all of DS laid out especially for fighting )

It was also interesting to see that only Jay mentioned her in the interviews, the others were way too self obsessed.”

Laughing hard at that. Yes, of course that is why they didn't vote for Helen, Nothing at all to do with preferring someone else.

The public are always instructed to vote for their favourite. That's what they did. It's an entertainment show about people learning dances, sometimes the technically best dancer can leave one cold.

Very sad a shocked to see both Georgia and Helen in the DO. I expected to see there Anita and Katie, but no. The competition is very close now.
Not even sure how much the leaderboard position matters.

I don;t think it matters much at this stage when there are so few couples. Sad to see both these lovely dancers in the DO.

Poor Helen was unlucky.

The competition is so close now that having a dance that doesn't suit, a poor song or theme in the wrong week and almost any of them could be out.

If Helen had done the Paso last week and Waltz this week, she'd still be in.

It is a pity for Helen and for Aljaz (such a nice man).

But it's still just a Saturday night entertainment show and Helen is successful in her main career.

Glad I provided you with some entertainment.

I shall miss her and Aljaz and enjoyed watching them, they come across as a thoroughly nice and gracious pair, their farewell dance was one of the nicest yet.

A shame but having watched strictly for several years not surprising.

It was a shame to see Helen go, but someone had to out of those six left who all have their strengths and weaknesses, and Helen just didn't shine in that dance this week, so sadly she was in the DO and rightly went against Georgia.

It was a pun on American Smooth and Argentine Tango, since it resembled the former about as much as the latter.

Yes such a shame Helen has gone and judges decided to keep girl in who played a bit part in a soap instead of a Lovely woman.

She was very dignified and ladylike and SHOULD NOT have been in the bottom two - neither should Georgia - the public voted for two weaker dancers based on sympathetic reasons and this is the result - such a pity

Yes, I realised. Didn't appreciate the sarcastic tone in the post either( Minah I mean). Wasn't necessary on this thread and not appropriate

[quote=She could have easily been in the final if it weren't for the clueless not seeing Anita's AT for what it was(n't)[/QUOTE]

I find this just as insulting as Craig's reference to the general public, so what if people are "clueless", it is as much about being entertained and perhaps people were entertained by Anita/gave her the sympathy vote, whatever, it is their right!

Not everyone who watches the show are experts and just as well, far too many people on this site think they are, but they are not the majority of voters!

Confusingly American Tango is actually a dance style.
