Some of the comments are really annoying me. Having a go at Anita. She has every right to be in the semi final. After all she has worked for it despite her pigeon toes. Maybe be some people want to see a grafter. Craig is an idiot who has favourite and he publicly humiliates people he doesn't like. Nasty, mean spirited man.

The judges placed Georgia second didn't they? It was the public that didn't vote for her.
It is ultimately the public that cause that, not bias and/or inconsistency of the judges |

tonight Craig has really annoyed me for blaming the public for putting Georgia & Helen into the dance off so who does think we want in the dance off them and up the public to vote for whoever we want
![]() Just because the Judges Favourite(sp) Georgia was in the Dance off there is no need have a go at the Viewers and there Voting habits that put her there so Craig shame on you ![]() |

What about if too many of the GBP who would usually have voted for Georgia decided to use up their quota of votes righting a perceived wrong with Anita?
If 'enough' did then two better dancers competing in the DO is a real possibility. It is ultimately the public that cause that, not the judges It is not just a dance competition. It is also an entertainment show. Maybe the GBP were just not entertained by Helen. I know I wasn't. And if the BBC only want trained dancers then they shouldn't keep the competition open to novices. All I can say is that I hope Anita is very proud of herself. Well done to her. |

It is ultimately the public that cause that, not the judges The public like an underdog and it doesn't take many of them voting, being a bit perverse, if any judge appears to have it in for any competitor. Look how it didn't matter how much they derided John Sargent's performances, the public kept voting for him. If the judges showed a bit more restraint...well Craig, he wouldn't get some people's backs up so that they skew the vote enough to produce a shock result. |

I think Anita should have gone but at this stage of the game anybody can be at risk.
CRH should know that after 12 years on this thing, LOL! |

CRH might be an a**e but if the dance(r) is worse than that others then voting for the one on the receiving end of his ire is a bit bluddy silly imho. As I said, it only ends up causing a ????gate with many of the same people who voted whingeing that their real favourite is out. Go figure |

I love Craig, he's the only really honest judge and if he left Strictly then I would too.
Slag him off all you like but as I said before, he is just giving his opinion. DS member moan like mad when they think the judges are not saying stuff, to toe the BBC agenda, but when they don't, that's wrong too. Damned if they do and damned if they don't |

I hope you are not comparing Anita to John Sargent. My problem with Craig is that he is a hypocrite. Georgia can make mistakes and he will never mention and give her his highest mark and Jay who had danced so well and he was pedantic and even Len got mad. Bruno is also the same will never mention her mistakes or down play them.
This is really unfair. |

Everyone has different opinions but being upset doesn't change the result and the fact that Helen has left.

Not enough people voted for Helen and Georgie, Georgie danced better in dance off.
Where's the conspiracy. I wonder if all the people moaning actually voted. |

I love Craig and in fact all of the judges. I whooped with joy when Kellie was announced as going through - she deserved to. I wanted Katie to be in the DO with Helen, and for Helen to go through but that's a personal preference and I'm not complaining about it. Some DS members were so incensed by Craig's comments and low marking, they were voting like crazy and I imagine that was the same for the public. I thought Kellie did a great job and I wanted to keep her out of the DO so I voted for her several times and I guess the public felt the same. Maybe the Georgia votes went to Anita and Kellie instead, because they thought Georgia would be safe. Who knows? But yes, ultimately it is the public who put Georgia and Helen in the DO. It's all high drama and makes for a great show so why not makes these controversial comments and get people het-up? That's part of it the fun! ![]() Quote:

He was right. He was aiming it at both of them. It's the biggest shocker of a DO for a long time and neither deserved to be there - yet.
Georgia was a bit of a surprise but how often has the person right at the bottom been saved? Plenty. So overall not that much of a shocker. When you have a series where there's so many already goods ones, you're bound to get eliminations like tonight's near the end. They can't all stay. |

Based on the judges scores Helen actually should have been in the DO (albeit not with Georgia). So I'm not sure how Craig can blame the public for putting her there!
