Personally I think Gleb is more reserved than Anita. I think Anita wants to learn how to dance while Gleb is more interested in developing his career. I hear that Gleb and his wife are very focussed individuals.

Not really related, but there was some major chemistry between them at the end of their dance on Saturday. Not implying anything sordid or anything beyond being in character a little longer, but it has been the only time this season I've actually felt a real, intense connection between any of the couples (even the tabs favourites for that sort of thing). Then the moment was over and it was back to normal, but it was so apparent that even the people I was watching it with commented.

See I think that she did have a crush on him...a bit. Not in a sordid, 'want to have an affair way', but more in a fangirl 'ooh isn't he gorgeous' vein.In their first training video it was obvious.

I think her liking of Gleb has changed over the months as she has actually got to know him as a person and mellowed into admiration for his teaching and skills and perhaps gratitude for actually getting him as a partner.

Anita in her lighter moments a bit like that for over-enthusiasm anyway. When she has described meeting the more famous people on the how like Peter Andre and Jamelia she seems much younger. I think it's quite endearing.

I think Anita recognises what the chief selling point of Gleb is and reacts accordingly. I'm not even convinced she likes him that much on a personal to be honest, although this is all obviously guesswork , THANKS COMEDY VTs. To be honest, Gleb's so inscrutable it's hard to tell how either of them actually feels about the other.

That is so true, I was watching him through the judges comments and he doesn't really re-act that much, just taking it all in, there is more to Gleb than meets the eye (no pun intended).. I like to think they do like each other, if not, they are at least attuned and have a common goal.

I'm rubbish at spotting these things but they seem roughly as fond of each other as a husky is fond of the sled driver. They need each other to get forward. They're both commited, hard-working characters. It seems professional to me

My partner thought this and commented: the Gleb-wife wouldn't be happy. He still can't tell the difference between Anton and Brendan Cole but remembers the 2 second shot of her from episode 1.

She seemed to get over her initial giddy schoolgirl with a crush phase after a few weeks, then talked about him like an object when it came to the rumba, and now I'm getting the impression they don't even particularly like each other. Bit of an odd couple IMO!

After over 3 months of spending so many hours together training every day, if she doesn't want to strangle him by now, then something's not right. They seem to have quite an intense teacher-student relationship, their partnership seems to have chemistry, and we have no idea if they have anything in common for a friendship to develop. I think Anita has a bit of a fiery temper, and Gleb's a task master; this combination sometimes produces the inevitable fireworks.

On another note, Gleb's been treated like a piece of meat a little bit on the show, and I don't think he is particularly comfortable with it, even though he mostly plays along. I remember watching an interview they gave on This Morning I think it was, where the presenter asked him if he enjoys it when people are charmed by his looks. The look on Gleb's face before he recovered enough to give a very awkward response about how "they work really hard" spoke volumes. I think he is the kind of person who is very driven and very ambitious, and who wants to be recognised for the work he is doing, rather than his bone structure.

I saw that interview too, and I felt sorry for Gleb. There is just no way to answer the kind of questions he was being asked, and it must get really annoying after a while to be constantly asked about your looks and not about your work.

Gleb's wife was in the audience (and pointed out-by Tess I think) for one of the shows. There's also a video someone posted recently of them dancing together.

No idea about Anita's hubby. The only other half I spot regularly now on camera is Mr Katie.

Anita is keeping her marriage very private, and she does not name her husband on interviews. I read somewhere that he does not want to be in the public eye.

I've no idea if Anita had or has a crush on Gleb. If she likes or dislikes him and vice versa. Gleb may play the hunk and not like it. It's possible to contribute to a self-image with which he is uncomfortable and/or conflicted. I agree that he's ambitious and so is Anita.
