Adelina didn't do the choreo with Gleb, I don't know where you've got that from. She doesn't really have experience of choreographing her own programs either, most skaters her age don't. All her programs for the last 4 years have been done by Peter Tchernyshev, Elena Buianova & Tatiana Tarasova.
He talks a bit about working with her on DWTS here, and says that they focused a lot on technique. As for whether he did a good job of teaching her, she's done a rumba & samba inspired program for her SP this year, and everyone from fans to the top officials & coaches in the Russian Skating Federation have been remarking on how much her movement & interpretation has improved compared to her Olympic season
