Jay is obviously leading the public votes as implied by his vast popularity, but Anita must be coming second as two weeks in a row she has been at the bottom of the leaderboard and survived both times. She must be doing very well in the votes my guess is that as of last week it went-

Samuel's list seems about right but Georgia and Kellie could have been below Helen. That doesn't make much difference for next week.

What I wonder though is who is going to benefit from the small minority of " anyone but Jay votes " in the finals ? Georgia ? Anita ? Kellie ? All of the 3 women that will be there ?

I think on one of the threads, someone had worked out that Anita could've come third in the public vote and still avoided the dance off. First, second or third, she's obviously popular.

I think Anita is most likely to benefit if that opinion comes into play as many see her as the closest threat to the glitterball trophy

The odds are Anita has always had good support, or at least has done for some weeks now. She'd be in the semi had Craig given her a 6 or a 9.

I've voted for her EVERY week and so have plenty of others I know so I'd dispute that she 'only got the votes this week....'

In your opinion she should have gone.... In my opinion she should have stayed. I doubt she'll win but hope she's in the final.

Most of the 9 million viewers wouldn't know a foxtrot from a Samba to be fair.

I thought the panel were sending strong signals to the GBP during the QF that Anita is technically the worst dancer left.

I expect they will do so again in the semi-final.

This kind of cumulative steering often influences how the public votes so I wouldn't be too surprised to see her in the B2 on Saturday where she might struggle to survive unless the producers pull an Andre

Well Ive been supporting Anita since week 1 because I just like her a lot both on & off Strictly. She's not the best dancer but then she's had no previous training so that means she's done really well. I don't vote for Gleb. I don't dislike him but I don't think he's a great choreographer however he does know how to put on spectacle. Their Maleficent dance was amazing.

That's exactly it for me too. I look forward to her dances the most. I see she is not the best technically but I still love when she dances. Her drive and enthusiasm is very appealing. Though I have seen that criticised here too.

I don't think it is 'obvious' at all that Jay is leading in the public vote, it could easily be Anita or Katie. I wouldn't be that surprised if Jeremy and Carol were topping the voting stats for a few weeks early on!

We have no idea. Personally I think Katie's vote is probably huge as well - I'm not sure if Katie's voters want her in the final or want her to win, that's not quite the same thing and there's no way of knowing, but I would be amazed if they don't get her to the final, particularly with a foxtrot and a charleston. That 'Wouldn't it be great if Anton finally got to win' story is very powerful and might possibly be as powerful as Anita's 'never danced before'. And Anton's showdance will be ballroom and my personal belief is that the public love a full on Fred & Ginger ballroom showdance, even though most of the pros choose to do latin/disco for no reason I've ever understood.

And Georgia will get a huge bounce from being in the b2. And Kevin's never not got to the final and who knows what storylines he's got in store this week - and I'd have bet money last week that Kellie wouldn't get a bigger vote than Georgia.

That baffles me as well. Or they do one of those ghastly contemporary affairs while wearing leotard like Brendan and Lisa or James and Denise. With the woman being heaved about like a rolled up carpet
