Anita's face when she is being judged and criticised is a picture. She really dislikes any critique and considering she knows nothing about dance I believe she should take it a little better. She acts like she knows better.

When Craig gave her a six her face!

Obviously just my opinion, just something I noticed.

How is a celeb supposed to react to criticism, especially when delivered in a constant flow as was Craig's on Saturday?

You're supposed to jump up and down clapping your hands and whooping 'Hurrah! Cheers for telling me the many ways in which I was crap on TV in front of millions. Best day ever!!'

Otherwise, you're just too earnest/smug/personality-less/robotic/media-trained etc etc

I think some fans of other contestants are getting nervous of Anita. They do not seem to understand that most viewers don't care who the best technical dancer, because they don't know much about dancing. They just vote for their favourite and who they enjoy watching.

I thought she just looked disappointed in herself. I would be if I'd worked really hard all week on a dance and end up getting a thrashing and a 6 from Craig.

I suspect some fans of Helen are peeved that someone they perceived as a worse dancer is still in the show. They need to get over it, it's just a Saturday night bit of fluffy telly.

Did she miss some training because of Glebs lip?

Well, quite. I'd imagine if the OP* was hauled up at work and given a detailed list of her failings in front of her colleagues, she wouldn't be beaming from ear to ear.

*that's assuming the OP is old enough to be employed, of course.

I'm guessing some people feel a bit threatened that she's a threat to their fave. Backhanded compliment, I guess.

Going to make for a pretty miserable couple of weeks though. I thought people would've got this out their system with the oh so witty treatment Peter got.

Quite. Katie has been called smug for her reaction to an onslaught of criticism too. Both Anita and Katie have reacted well by keeping quiet and seeming to accept the critique whilst maintaining their dignity. Sometimes the criticism is humiliating either in content or amount, as for Anita from Craig.

I'm interested to know what your opinion is of the others when they get disappointing scores. How do you think they react?
Can't say I've noticed any of them looking particularly pleased when they get low marks or criticised but maybe they should plaster a false smile on and punch the air with joy just for the sake of not getting forum threads like this made up in their name.

I like that she looks disappointed. I can't stand it when people stand there obsequiously nodding while they are being ripped into. They shouldn't have to pretend that everything is fine when a week's worth of work is dismissed as rubbish.

Huh? I feel she takes it on the chin. Can't be easy to listen to Craig and stop your face from falling

Is Anita a threats to your fave OP? Awwww diddums

I think the person who most dislikes the criticism is Kellie. That fixed grin can't hide her true feelings. But what are you supposed to do when criticised?

My face was probably the same when Craig flashed that six paddle. But it probably did her a favour, nearly everyone seems to have thought it was too harsh and it boosted her public vote.

Exactly . And which of us would stand beaming while someone criticised us when we have given it our all . Of course our chin would fall

Craig was right though.
what has this got to do with the subject matter of this thread

OP was criticising the way Anita didn't take Craigs critique and scoring very well, and according to OP Anita is too up herself.

We are not debating whether Craig was right or wrong

As a dancer you nod, say thank you and I will work on that, you don't presume to know better then a judge.

Yes it's dififcult to hide your feelings, I would probably want to punch them

Why would I be nervous?

It's just an observation, I actually said it a few weeks back in the five thoughts thread after her rhumba, she didn't take judging well.

I wasn't really a fan of Helen and I said the same thing on Saturday night about Anita this week on the five thoughts.
