she is a super trouper ,

takes it on the chin , works harder than anyone , performs to the millions every week
with a passion and verb like no other ,

that's why she has become the peoples champion ,

Thankfully the really nasty criticisms are niche, but I do stand by my point that some posters are definitely able to dish it out but not take it.

As for the thread topic, I haven't noticed Anita any less able to accept critique from the judges than the other celebs. I think her facial expression was just the shock of having received a rousing, standing ovation from the audience which made her think she'd done an excellent dance, only to then be almost completely panned by Craig. Obviously there was an entertainment (audience assessment) and technical (Craig's assessment) gap - I don't think either was "wrong". She's entertaining but lacks technical finesse.

I think she had suitably recovered her composure by the time they reached Claudia.

Do you know for a fact she works harder then all the others left? Is there training hours published, or quality of rehearsal?

Constantly ripping into celebrities and creating a bad feeling towards them here when they have no way of responding is, IMO, stupid. You could make up whatever rubbish you wanted.

P.S - Your final sentence with the patronising smiley made me chuckle. I guess it's ok when you try and belittle and mock, then, hrm?”

mmmmmm

I think you might need to re-read your own comment that I replied to. You may have only meant DS members having a pop at the pros and celebs taking part but that wasn't clear. IMO, it was ambiguous enough to make me interpret it that you were happy to 'mock and belittle' those DS users that 'mock and belittle' SCD contestants. It was that point that I 'challenged'.

FWIW, I agree with you that the criticisms some people post about people they don't know and have just taken a dislike to them for the sheer hell of it (or they are doing better than their favourite SCD pairing) is ridiculous

Anita is a well known workaholic, so with her reputation I can't imagine her slacking off.

Gleb is a strict taskmaster, I can't imagine he will allow Anita to slack off during training.

Also IIRC Anita mentioned on ITT few weeks back she trains at least 9 hours a day.

I apologise for the ambiguity. That wasn't what I had meant

But then the same can be said for a lot of them, they are all doing 8-9 hours a day and putting in the hard work to put their best dance forward.

Gleb does seem like a hard task master, yes I do not believe he can be that hard/competent if he has never got her to point her feet.

Also, sometimes it is about the quality of the practise, so four hours of good work is much better and more productive then nine of poor practise, or practising errors, as they set them in place.
but again, we do not know who works the hardest or longest.

I've got nothing at all against Anita, I'm sure she works hard with passion and verve but you can't categorically say that she does this more than everyone else.

If she has an anatomical malformation of her feet which causes the pigeon toed posture, it's scarcely a shortcoming on the part of either Anita OR Gleb.

This is an issue which is best corrected in childhood if deemed necessary. Even then, it would have taken months of measures to correct the problem. Unless it caused her any difficulties with walking or other activities, it is likely that her parents decided it was best left alone.

Chances are that the notion of her taking part in an elimination dance contest on TV in adulthood was not uppermost on anyone's mind at that stage in her life.

In my long ago cycling training days, we used to call them 'junk miles'. They filled up the training diary but fulfilled no other function at all.

You asked for proof, I gave you examples, not hard facts ... sorry, unless all the Celebs has 24/7 CTV while they train we can't come up with any proof how hard each Celeb works, only what we know.

Why is it you nitpick at everything regarding Anita. You say you don't have an agenda, but sorry you come across as someone who does.

You haven't read my post, I said point her feet, which is a different issue and seperate from the pigeon toes.

That's the thing.

Like those who say they spent five hours at the gym. But what was you doing in those five hours? Better to spend one hour doing everything well and a higher intensity.

It makes me laugh when threads like this pop up. I think she is a trooper... as for faces when facing criticism. .haha..there have been a lot worse. Will she win no ...but I wonder at the intention.. anyways as a someone else said, everyone works hard.. we all have opinions so will leave mine there.

She does point her feet. It may have been less apparent in the AT last Saturday, for whatever reason but in her other dances, she definitely has done so.

so you're implying that even though Anita maybe doing 9 plus hours a day, all her training is not at a high quality.
I didn't realise you are privy to the extent of training each Celeb does.

As keeping her feet together, placing them on the floor correctly and sorting out her legs.

She walked into the Rhumba like someone walking into the kitchen - that has nothing to do with some abnormality, and everything to do with poor training.
