I had the most beautiful dream last night

Katie and Anton lifting the glitterball trophy.

Do you think it will come true?

Could very well happen though

I had one of those dreams but mine was Jay & Aliona lifting the glitterball

Oh oh... Spooky. I was just reading about Jung on another thread. I believe you have both been sharing the Actual Vision of the VT producers. On Saturday night, expect comedy pyjamas, a delightful dream sequence turned into a cackling Craig nightmare of witheringly personal comments about deformity, herpes, mental issues, pigeon appendages and crow-feet before all contestants are woken by their dance partners to go and train.

The best would be Jay and Anton lifting the glitterball

I'm hoping for Georgia and Giovanni

I think if they get to the final then they'll probably win it. I know a few people who just really want Anton to win once and I think a lot of people (not on here) will throw votes their way then.

I doubt it - the judges will say something along the lines - it is now the semi-final and we have to mark you down a bit and criticise you because there are better technical celebrity dancers in the show.

The semi-final and final also get more difficult as they now have to learn and perform more than one dance - this favours the ones with previous training and a natural aptitude for learning the routines. It also favours those who have less busy commitments in the lead up to Christmas so can spend more time learning the routines.

It is also more difficult for the men - who have to lead, and for the women who are dancing out of hold and hence have less guidance from their partner during the dance. That said some people are more comfortable dancing out of hold than in hold.

Personally I think the winner should be either Jay or Georgia - I think all the others will be just happy with getting as far as the final and having learnt how to dance. With Jay and Georgia I think they have become more committed to dance and they both have enormous talent for it. I can see both Jay and Georgia moving into musical theatre - although Jay has more work to do with learning how to act.

I'd be happy for Jay if he does, not so much for Aliona as I find her rather smug.

But it would also be an anti climax as it's been a forgone conclusion from week 1 Jay would win.

Thank you! I have never taken to Aliona but didn't know why, now I know it's her smugness and self satisfied persona...

I would love Anita to win but as you say it's pretty much nailed on for Jay, but stranger things have happened at sea .. ?

Not a fan of Aliona either, even with the great partner she has had this year she doesn't seem happy, her face was always a picture when she got duffers for partners. Everyone has a duffer or two eventually, Aliona should look to see how Natalie and Flavia behaved with their duff partners.

I didn't have a dream last night but if I could conjure one up it would be for Aliona to looked amazed, pleased, proud and happy when she and Jay lift the glitterball.

It's all subjective, isn't it? I think Aliona looks the picture of happiness this year. And to me she has always seemed perfectly pleasant. What's more, I think she's a brilliant dancer and choreographer and looks amazing. I don't find her smug or self-satisfied, just self-assured and comfortable with who she is, and who can blame her?

I had the same beautiful dream, but it did not include Anton or a glitter ball.

Then Mrs Posh woke me up!

Having 18 holes of golf with Katie Dereham is TMI?

In my dream Katie asked me whether I fancied playing a round - I just nipped out to get my clubs when Mrs Posh woke me

You could tell in week one? When Jay got exactly the same marks as Anita, less than Helen and top of the leaderboard Peter? How very clever of you.

(Interestingly Kellie, Georgia, Jay and Anita all got 27 on their first dance and Katie got 26, so our final five, according to the judges, started out pretty much even.)

Ditto all you have said, Kitty. Contrary to smug and self-satisfied, I think she comes across as quite modest and a little reserved.

Mine was about hitching a lift on the back of a "ute" driven from the rear. I think I need a lie down with a pot of Earl Grey and a lavender poultice
