"Katy Manley and Susy Price, who were previously executive producers alongside O’Connor, have now been promoted to co-creative director roles.

Replacing them as executive producers are Andrew Jackman, who currently runs ITVBe’s The Only Way Is Essex and was previously Big Brother’s series editor, and Shannon Delwiche, whose credits include E4’s Tool Academy and Sky1’s King Of The Nerds UK"

Is this a good or bad thing?

To me it points towards further embracing of the scripted reality format.
Hopefully I'm way off base though.

When I said in another thread this series was going to be different. Yeah, scrap that.

Five words which crushed any hope: "The Only Way Is Essex."

Andrew Jackman was also Series Editor of Made In Chelsea.

Was last on BB during June 11 - Sep 12:

"Launching the reality show on a new channel and continuing for several series of both ‘Celebrity’ and ‘Classic’
BB. Overseeing the whole team, refreshing the format and driving the content and style of the series."

Assuming this is the same person...

He also had stints during the C4 days with Big Brother and BBLB:

"His meteoric six-year TV career has included stints on reality shows such as Big Brother, as well as BBLB, RI:SE and Richard & Judy."

It's not good and it's not bad......it's terrible. The show will only go further down hill when we have people who helped make TOWIE, Made in Chelsea and Tool Academy doing the show. Those 3 shows are absolute s***e.

Channel 5 just don't get it at all. They have had this show for 4 years now, they are still losing viewers, but they refuse to accept that they were wrong to take BB in the direction they have taken it.

Must be honest I thought the same thing.
But maybe not as forced as its been they are trying to give scripted reality a more natural flow.

Only time Will tell. But if they get another year like the one just gone the shows heading into very choppy water

I think it's more likely because there are so few unscripted reality shows left to hire people from.
