There was an article that the mirror posted a few months ago about Ferne Mccann being the first celebrity to sign up for the new series in January. But now she's appeared on I'm a celeb, would she go in January? Has anyone ever done that before?

If she did, I wouldn't mind at all. She'd be great.

I can't see her doing CBB at the moment, she's still hot from doing I'm a Celebrity. She'll want to spread her 5 minutes for as long as she can and doing all of the shows back to back is not a way to do that.

As I said in the who might be on the show thread, CBB has a tendency to cast lower level reality stars from the uk. McCann and Pattison are much bigger names.

I think they do this for a few reasons.

Vicky Pattison would have won CBB irrespective who else was cast ,they like the lower level names as it makes it more competitive , they won't cast someone like Charlotte Crosby again.

Also lower level uk names gives the American imports more chance of doing well and it justifys the money spent on them.

Thinking back to 2014 Luisa zissman wasn't a big name at the time but she saw off evander Holyfield in an eviction at the start, money wasted so they tend to go with uk names that they are not sure if they will be popular rather than ones they know will be

Danielle Armstrong i would be fine with, Collins no but she will be popular with an eviction audience launch night crowd
