Got my first iPod
Widdy

Just thought I would share the news that I have bought my first iPod today and am very very pleased with it!!

I went for the 4th Generation 20Gb Hard drive model, along with an iTrip for the car!

Just busy transfering my CD collection via iTunes now.

The iTrip should be good, but because of the amount of interference from other stations I gave up on it. I'm looking for an alternative for the car.

I'm amazed we haven't seen an iPod car stereo where the faceplate comes down and you slide the ipod into it...

Not quite like that, but you plug in a cable to the dock connector of the iPod and use a touch wheel on the stereo to control the iPod.

The Itrip is illegal.

Sure the iTrip is illegal to use in the UK, but it is a victimless crime that will probably be ignored.

Apparently this is why:

I thought that kids walkie talkies and cordless microphones functioned in pretty much the same way and its not like you could actually cause much more interferance than those kids toys with the itrip.
