No I didn't I didn't think he was that great at all but I did love Ola.

The best partnership for me was Kara and Artem mesmerising. Wish we could see them dancing again.

I remember being angry when Chris won

I was an Ali Bastian fan and then voted for Ricky when she left in the semi final. The team cola thing did nothing for me and this forum was unbearable with the gushing over mediocre (at best) dancing and a childish partnership. I still can't bare to watch him in anything and Ola has remained my least favourite pro.

Its why i have some sympathy for those who dislike Jay this year. This place is miserable and lonely when you really don't like the board favourite. Thankfully i'm team Jay all the way this year

The only votes I cast that year was to help Anton and Laila through the week she hurt her foot because I desperately wanted Anton to reach the fin..............no,just kidding,I think I fancied Laila just a little.
She didn't dance that well the next week so,disappointed, I didn't bother voting again.
(I'm not the first guy to throw money at a woman only to be let down).

Liked Ali's dances except in those in which she looked a bit drippy.

I do admit, though,to cheering on Team Cola in the final as they seemed, as far as I can remember,to dance like they wanted us to join in
My only memory of Ricky Whittle's dancing was that he always seemed too internalised.

He and Ola irritated me so much. I won't forget that obscene tongue he kept sticking out. Well, I almost did, now you reminded me of it And I wanted Ricky to win.

I thought after the fiasco of series 6 and putting through Lisa who promptly went out first in the final, the judges had no business telling us how to vote. I think that played a big part in Cola's success with the public. They had a very funny relationship, and the others were so dull.

The public like to pick their own journeys. I suppose they are doing the same for Anita, but I find her and Gleb very humourless and earnest.

It was awful the year Mark Ramprakash won for those of us who didn't like him. Couldn't bear these forums.

I don't think i bothered with DS that year although i was a ramps fan so wouldn't have minded or even noticed tbh

I always wonder if FMs who get so annoyed and wound up by the people who criticise their favourites realise that that person may end up being a bosom buddy next year if they like the same contestant

Just wanted to point out that Jay and Aliona's Rumba is about to hit 100,000 views with no help from autoplay (like every other top dance this series) because Helen's VW is STILL the featured dance on the SCD channel homepage.

The judges were especially vile to him, and if my memory serves me correctly the viewing public for keeping him there. But he wasn't as bad as so they made out and his Charleston was absolutely blooomg brilliant, his showdance was pretty good as well.

It was also the one and only time that Ola seemed likeable.

So shoot me if you like”

i think i should take away your vodka

that was when I started posting, and I was a massive fan of Matt and Lilia, and thought she turned him into a good dancer, and they were very funny together, I still watch several of their dances. Spent loads of money trying to get Matt to win

for the same reason I loved team Cola, loved their partnership, and still watch their week 2 rumba, spent loads of money voting for them as well

I blame team Cola for the fact we have the charleston as a dance, and I hate it

thank goodness for internet voting

Sorry, what's the connection between that and Chris Hollins winning?!

I voted for him, but I was very young, a little drunk, and it meant nothing, honestly...

I was seriously underwhelmed by series 7 - and also still suffering with AustinWuzRobbed syndrome from the previous series so I can't imagine I voted for anyone that year, in fact I can't even remember who else was in series 7

Somebody hadn't worshipped at the altar of St Jay for a whole thread, it probably would have got shut down, better to be safe than sorry...

Indeed, we're a fickle bunch.

It's very relaxing this year as I really like Jay and Anita, and find something nice about pretty much all the remaining contestants.

Ali had obviously had shitloads of dance training, and she wasn't someone that was easy to warm to either. Hence her coming third.

Anita's waaaaay better than Chris was!

And that's from someone who voted for him! (I liked the partnership and felt he grew as a performer.)
