I think it could be a straight popularity contest between Anita and Katie and whoever has the lower public vote will be in the dance off and in big trouble.
I don't think she'll be bottom of the judges' leaderboard. I think Katie will be bottom and Jay will be second from bottom - he's due a bad week. The judges will push Kellie and Georgia up to protect them.
If she manages to dance a salsa to the awful song they've given her and Gleb, then good on her and I hope she avoids the DO.
BIB. According to Aliona on ITT they are doing a modern take on the Charleston, no gurning or jazz hands, so we'll have to see how that goes down with the audience and public.

Jay was/is my second favourite after Helen, and I've seen at least two other Helen fans say the same thing on here.
I think you're under estimating Anita's public support. She was at the bottom of leader board and still wasn't in DO out of 6 contestants. She'll be in the final. People appreciate the non-trained dancer still embracing the spirit of the show.
Whilst she undoubtedly has a large fanbase, some people will be tiring of the ceaseless 'the only one with no previous experience' mantra. She's had 4 months of intensive training with a professional dancer by this point and still hasn't addressed some basic flaws in technique. If she wins this year it will be the biggest triumph of style over substance since the horror that was Team Cola.
Love Anita, but think she's in big trouble this week, her public vote is probably going to have to be the highest.
Like others have said on this thread, judges really don't rate her, that's not going to change this week, whatever she does, so Anita will finish bottom of their voting.

After "jameliagate" I think if the other contestant went 'arse over tit' they would have to save Anita.
If she is in bottom two I think she's gone though.
Pity if any of the others were eliminated and Anita stays as (imo) she is the weakest dancer left though I admit she can perform.
Also, to be honest I dread seeing a "Glebspecialshowdance"

Georgia was a shocker in the bottom 2 last week BUT we dont know how many more votes Anita, Katie and Jay had above her - it could have been minimal

No matter where Jay is on the leaderboard, top or bottom, he will be in the final. Jay is the only celeb guaranteed a place.
In terms of the Judges leaderboard I'm guessing it will be the following order and probably no ties as there are 2 dances each so points will be:
Jay - 5
Georgia - 4
Kellie - 3
Katie - 2
Anita - 1
Assuming Jay is top with the viewers, and (going on last week) Anita is next and Georgia bottom and it's likely given previous DO appearances that Kellie is less popular than Katie, then the viewers may do this:
Jay - 5
Anita - 4
Katie - 3
Kellie - 2
Georgia - 1
Making totals as follows:
Jay - 10
Anita - 5
Katie - 5
Kellie - 5
Georgia - 5
Which, as in the case of a tie the viewer's vote counts higher, then would leave Kellie and Georgia in the DO. If however Georgia gets a 'bounce' from last week then she could end up higher in the viewer vote and therefore out of the bottom 2. Not just Anita everybody is in trouble of going out this week the ones feel most confident that will be in the final are Jay & Georgia.

- but from Anita's perspective it's actually better for her if there are ties. If the Judges really want to try to get her into the DO then they have to try not to have ties, so she only gets 1 point and has more to make up over those who they will put at the top.If they really want Anita in the DO, then I think the only way of them doing it is to not score Jay too highly, that way he will be between Anita and Georgia/Kelly and with that one more point gap, then it could make the difference.

I'm hoping she wins too as I got her at 33/1 before the series started. Both my brother and I put a £20 free bet on her so if she comes up trumps we're on to £330 each.
.... I doubt it will happen mind you but while she s still in the co petition, I can still live in hope
I wouldn't be surprised if only the 9 and 10 paddles were used for 3 of the dancers. If the judges really do mark to their own beliefs and independently surely this is going to lead to ties which would relatively close the gap for the other 2.

I am exactly the same with Katie. I am someone who likes to see Anton and want him in the final I will be voting like mad for them to escape danger because im not sure if Katie will be in a vulnerable place on the leaderboard
Im not sure about Anita she seems to do well in the public vote but I think it will either be her Katie or Kellie to go. Im not convinced that Anita or My fave Katie is safe this week. as much as they have both had good runs and I don't think either have been in the dance off Im unsure if the luck will continue for either of them.
