How consistent are you?

As far as voting is concerned, this year I think I've been fairly disciplined in just rewarding the 3 best (in my estimation*) performances on the night.

A couple of exceptions I can recall: once where a couple was just outside my top 3 but seriously undermarked in my view; once where a couple who are normally in my top 3 had a bad week and were in danger (sadly my vote was in vain).

* I can't vouch for the consistency of my reasoning in arriving at the 3 best on the night but I can confirm I've spread my votes around a fair bit.

I spent 2013 supporting Sophie and wanted to see her Charleston again...then surprised myself by voting for Natalie in the final because she finally won me over.

I start every series telling myself I'm going to vote for the best dance regardless of who danced it...but by week 3/4 at the latest I've usually got a firm favourite who I end up giving at least one vote to each week.

I usually can't stand Komedy Kontestants...but I voted for Jeremy more than once this year.

Next year I'll probably find myself campaigning for more teapots...”

Agree with most of your comments apart from comedy contestants (I really liked some) and tea pots. I'm more a fan of the pros than their celebs but a good celeb can make a pro seem better and a poor celeb can make on seem worse.

This year I have voted for Jeremy, Jamelia, Kellie and Katie. I've decided to support Katie to the final but I don't mind any of the final 5 and would be content for any to win. I'd be over joyed if Katie won.

Last year I loved Alison Hammond and Aljaz was a revelation with her. My big love was Trent and so I supported Pixie who I grew to adore. I didn't care for the final 4 and Caroline winning was a loss for me. I felt similarly when Abbey won the previous year.

How consistent?

Very, and loyal, resolute and faithful.

Look at the line-up, wonder who 90% are, watch the first programme and choose.

This year? Spotted Jay, moved only by Jay, vote only for Jay.

For me, it's not just that I have to like the partnership, I have to like the choreography that they do. I loved Chelsee, Kimberley and Caroline not just because I like Pasha, but because Pasha choreographed some great dances for them. I didn't like much of the choreo Aliona did for either Harry or Matt but think she's hardly put a foot wrong with Jay. Matt Cutler put together a terrific run of dances for Alesha. Mark Benton did the only comedy dances I've ever voted for, because Iveta realised that he could really do comedy well.

This is me in a nutshell - I usually want the best dancers to win, but I loved Team Cola and couldn't warm to Ricky & Natalie, so a shedload of votes went to Chris & Ola in the final. Also don't get Anita this year - I like her as a person, but if she improved even a bit it'd be nice, and I can't stand Gleb.

I usually despair at the 'comedy' contestants, but I have a soft spot for Jeremy Vine, and also disregarded my purity of dance favouritism for Dave & Karen because they were such a brilliant partnership. Somehow Mrs Clifton appears to be the link for me liking the sort-of 'comedy' dancer!

I'm an underdog voter. I don't come in every year and think "oh I'll vote for the underdog" but it tends to happen! It has to be an underdog who works hard and gels with their pro though, but they have to enjoy the experience most of all. My favourites this series have been Jeremy and Karen, Katie and Anton and Anita and Gleb.
My all time favourites were Michael Vaughn and Natalie Lowe. Other favourites from past series have been Gethin and Camilla, Matt and Flavia (their salsa was my favourite salsa ever) and yes Chris and Ola!

Dancing isn't the primary factor that makes me root for a couple so I wouldnt call it consistency or inconsistency as far as I'm concerned.

I care about great partnership/chemistry. That's what grabs me the most about a couple; what emotions I feel when I watch them dance. The personality of a contestant also matters to me. The dancing is just an added bonus. I mean it's important but not that important to me.

I liked Dave, Russell, Widdy , Judy Murray. ........

I loved Kristina and John Sergeant. They were just so endearing to me and their final dance still make me a tad emotional when I watch it.

I didn't like Natalie ...much less her partnership with Artem. I recognized that she was very good but her dancing left me cold. ..couldn't warm up to her no matter how hard I tried. I did try. On the other hand, I absolutely loved Abbey and her partnership with Aljaz. ..my favorite strictly partnership ever. There was just so much joy in her dancing, her improvement. .. I just loved her personality and who she's as a person. Yes it matters to me.

I loved Chris Hollins and Ola . Yes they were not the best but their chemistry / partnership/friendship was just so lovely. ..I couldn't warm up to Natalie and Ricky as a partnership even though I loved quite a few of their dances.

This year I like both Jay and Anita for different reasons even though they're different in terms of personality and dance technique. Jay is my n1 favorite though .

So to sum it up , my favorites over the years have been " duffers", great dancers, mediocre dancers. ...... chemistry/partnership/personality matters to me the most

I'm drawn to dances that wow and inspire me.

This year for example I had no favourites whatsoever, however Anita's Tango in week 4 (?) gave me goosebumps and made me sit up and notice the movements etc. Since then I've been shocked at how far she has come on as a performer and to see the hard work pay off in brilliant performances, Sadly the judges have to highlight her negatives, though her positives definitely outweigh those.

and Jay has drawn me in since his AT, I get peeved at the judges mentioning his face when you can see he is trying his hardest.
