Hi, I am needing a few 1m cables. I tend to buy the Amazon ones but at £3.99 a cable, it'll be a bit expensive.

Is there a reliable source on eBay that provides decent cables at a low price?

Thanks

£3.99 isn't expensive if they are well made, how much did the rest of your kit cost? Poundland sell cables for um.........

Well I need about 4 so £16 + delivery seems a but steep to me for cables.

I would keep what I have but there is so much excess cable behind the tv! They're all 2m cables at the moment.

I think delivery is free from Amazon if you are paying more than £10. Bearing in mind what you have paid for your equipment £16 isn't much to pay.

Amazon free delivery kicks in at £20, so add another one + something from the top up offers that cost 10p upwards to tip over the £20 mark and you're done.

£20 for a handful of leads is a good price.

Or tidy the existing cables by coiling them neatly and securing them with a bit of insulating tape, or use that plastic spiral bind that bundles cables together. It's dog ugly tbh but does a job if you can successfully hide it out of sight.

There is a reliable source in most High Streets called Poundland. Their 1 metre HDMI cables are as good as anything on ebay.

Judging by the pens and stylii they sell I would have to say not. Crumble in your hands as soon as look at them.

You think 4 quid is expensive!

Then perhaps you better not look at the price of this cable

I weep. The fact that you're buying a lot of them doesn't make them any more expensive. In fact it makes them cheaper! If you had to pay for delivery on one or two, but if you get that swrvice for free when you spend over £10 then it brings the average price down when including delivery costs.

EBay is your friend is my guess. Seriously though... "£3.99 is expensive" has left me gobsmacked.

As they're so widely available in the high street, it did make me wonder why it was necessary to buy them online. Many different outlets sell them at that price, including Aldi and Lidl if you're lucky.

^^ or why bother tramping around shops trying to find some, just order them from Amazon. I get the £6 odd ones and they're very good.

Not just that but "at least 4" means at least 5 pieces of kit to connect so how much did all that cost?

I spoke to Amazon and they have given me 50% discount off 4 cables because they don't have the 2 packs in stock! £8 for 4 - very happy lol

Well don't judge it by those. Their HDMI cables are excellent.
