IF Jay & Aliona make the final, 2 dances are repeated from earlier shows - the judges pick 1 dance & Jay/Aliona the other.

Last year, rather than pick the best dances that they enjoyed most, the judges picked some early dances to see how they had/could improve on their first effort. If they do the same again then they are unlikely to go for the jive which was pretty good first time round. After the tango Jay made comments about how much he enjoyed it and I suspect the tango may be his choice for a repition. In which case, unfortunately no jive.

I think it's pretty certain that we will see it again - think it will be Jay and Aliona's choice

I'd be VERY surprised if they didn't pick the jive as their favourite dance.

I suspect they would be pretty heavily leant on to pick it if they told the producers they wanted something else...

We will see it again! They will pick it themselves to see if they can garner more 10s for it

We have to see the Jive again I would want the judges to pick it that but even if they dont and then I would like Jay & Aliona to pick it as their. I want to see it again and get 40 that it should have been in Week 3

He'll easily win it. Georgia one of the runners up.

Anita, Kellie or Katie one of the others.

Simple as. Just the demographic that votes, he'll easily win. If he doesn't Darcey will hype him up so much that he will.

Definitely. And they'll pick his quickstep or foxtrot as the judges pick.

I presume if they get through Jay & Aliona will pick the Jive, but I'm sure Aliona will be a bit tempted to try to be the first ever to get a male celebrity to 40 for a Rumba. I suspect Jive will win though, and they'll obviously get 40 for it as well.

I'd be shocked if the judges didn't give them the Foxtrot to do again.

Will Aliona add to or change some of the Jive choreography?

Would it spoil it?

I hope we would see their jive and think we may but I wouldn't be surprised as someone said here if Aliona wanted to try get the 1st Rumba 40. I would be surprised if the judges didn't pick quickstep as everyone knew he could do that brilliantly and the chance may be given to them to show that I think anyway

I would love to see his jive again, although I would be equally happy with the tango, which I loved almost as much.

In one way, I would like them to do something else in the final - a repeat is trying to make a moment of it which it managed anyway. Should he make a mistake, it would be such a disappointment. As Monkseal says though, I imagine the PTB would prefer to see the most popular dance this series in the final.

It depends what is the other dance chosen for them. Do they go for one of their first dances, as happened with a few last year, and pick cha cha for improvement? QS because of the big mistakes also for improvement?

Is the Pope Catholic ?

Of course we will, he was destined to be in the final since week 1.

Aliona wants her hands on that Glitterball again.

I feel the same way. On one hand I really want to see it again and see it get the 40 it deserved first time around, OTOH it can only ever be an anti-climax...we'll never get that "this is great, he can really dance...OMG he can REALLY DANCE!" moment again, and if he didn't do it as perfectly second time around, it would be a disappointment.

Yes and he'll pick up the glitterball right after

Oh I do hope so, it's one of my favourite all time SCD dances and the only jive that didn't make me want to punch myself in the throat.

He deserves to lift the Glitterball just for that...and I say that as a Glita fan

I think the judges might pick it! If he gets there!

Recently it's not been a dance that went wrong, but more a dance the judges were itching to give 10s to.

Yes - judges pick the Jive and correct the score they should have given first time round because it was week 3. Leaving Jay & Aliona a degree of choice re their pick - rumba or maybe Tango.

twitch - he's not in the final yet - twitch.

If the judges take agin modern cool charlestons, he could be in a Helen paso situation against Georgia or Kellie.

Agreed. I really want to see it again but do worry that I won't love it as much and, if there's a mistake, I'd be gutted. It was the same when Chris Fountain danced to Cry Me A River in the DOI final. It was technically better as they'd changed some of the choreography as there was a mistake first time round but it had so much less intensity. It was a big disappointment. I don't want them to change the Jive - it was perfect. I watched it again a couple of times earlier.

I really hope the judge's DON't pick that awful Quickstep - I hated it. Hated the music and hated the choreography. I'd actually like to see their Argentine Tango again as it deserved way more than 34 and hopefully, the judges would see a massive improvement now in Jay's facial expressions and it would be even more intense.

Here's hoping.

He can improve the score and it's one of the dances of the whole of the show's history, let alone this series.
I think everyone would be expecting it.

I was a bit shocked Frankie didn't do her tango last year as it was amazing, however I understood about the green (still don't get why they couldn't do it over the break, it doesn't take that long!)
I think the result could have been different had she done that, but then again, you never know.
