I wouldn't mind if Jay wins this year, but on the downside Aliona is his partner. I just don't like her, I find her smug.... shame he is with her or I may have supported him this year

I think Jay and Aliona will pick the jive and the judges will want to see the QS again.

Sure we will and I'd like to see his salsa again

Really hope Jay can win, even more because of the amazing Aliona

I just wanted Aliona to be the first pro to win twice. I think she's ace.

Luckily, Jay is pretty awesome himself, so that's made it even easier for me to cheer them both on!

I agree, they are perfectly matched, and they bring out the best in each other.

Aliona will hopefully re choreograph it if they get it again. Brian Fortuna did with his and Ali Bastians AS in the semi final.

Even if they do it exactly the same hes a different dancer now to how he was in week 4 - his confidence has increased and hes done the QSathon in which he was brilliant.

He'll be amazing

Jay's jive is arguably the dance this series will be remembered for so if they don't choose it they'd be fools. The only danger really is if they both don't perform it as well as they did the first time around, it should have scored 10's across the board then and would have if it had happened later on in the series I expect

Doesn't the other dance they do have to be the one they got their highest marks for? for him so far that's the rhumba, and works well as it's the complete opposite of a jive

They (Jay&Aliona or the judges) would be fools if they don't do it again if they get to the final. It's a crowd pleaser (in the sense pretty much everyone loved it) and it was underscored because of the time in the competition it was danced so it deserves to be danced again in the final so it can get the score it deserved first time round.

Yes we will see the JIVE again - Jay said it was held a special place in his heart and they know everyone wants to see it again - Aliona is very savvy so if they get there and get through to the final 3 then we can see and enjoy that Jive again

I thought the judges usually picked the weakest dance so the celebs could show they had improved. I'm probably wrong though.

They don't necessarily pick the weakest dance. Sometimes it's just a dance from an earlier round that was quite good, but could be even better with the extra weeks of training to improve further.

I hope they do the jive if they get into the final. I'll be so disappointed if they don't make it. I'm looking forward to seeing it again so much. I'd like the judges to pick the rumba. Although I think judges always pick the ones that weren't so good. Here's hoping all goes well for them on Saturday as it's going to be a difficult choice as to who goes through.

That's why I'm hoping they (judges) pick the AT for the improvement in facial expression which I'm pretty sure, IIRC, they all commented on hence the frankly rubbish score of 34. I thought it was great first time round.

I actually think his AT was one of his poorest dances as Aliona did most of the impressive moves, and he was a bit underused. The rumba is also not really a crowd pleaser so I hope they don't do that, plus it's too recent.

I'd love them to do the jive and tango.

Of course he's going to do the jive again and this time he'll get a 40

Well according to the rumours we probably won't, unless the judges choose it. Will this alienate his fans, some of whom have been voting in the hope of seeing the jive again or will he get the votes no matter what he performs?

Okay I wonder what has brought on that apparent decision???

He'll still win but people will be hugely disappointed.

I'm sure we'll see Jay's Jive again and as the THE "wow" dance of the season theres a very good chance it will win him SCD 2015.

not this fan

to be perfectly honest with you I am happy to see ANY of his dances again

I hope we don't see the Jive again, his iconic performance of it is already out there in the world and it's so much pressure to make sure they "top" that performance and if it goes wrong then it utterly wrecks the impact it had originally.

I'd like to see his Tango and his Paso.

He wants it to have been a one-off special moment, apparently.

Personally I think Aliona has vetoed it so she doesn't have to wear the communal wig again. It must be in a fair old state by now.

Nothing is certain yet but as I said elsewhere, on ITT he was enthused about his Tango but was not too fussed abot the Jive. Jay seemed to imply that the Jive was a performance but the Tango was a dance (beautiful grl in hold, leading her round the dance floor etc)

If Aliona wants to really push for the win she may persuade him that the Jive is the biggest crowd pleaser. Then again is winning "The Glitterball" likely to be a life changing or career changing moment for either of them? After the final they both go back to their previous lives so shouldn't they just go for the thing that gives them the most pleasure? While the Jive may please millions at home, I'm sure it can't compare to holding Aliona in your arms one last time.
