Rank the remaining candidates
1) Joseph - I don't think he's going to win, but I think he's proven himself to be much more than I'd thought he'd be. Rarely makes mistakes and owns up to it when he does.
2) Charleine - beneath her "hard graft", she is actually a very capable candidate. Bit OTT though. My favourite. 3) Vana - she seems to be the forums' favourite at the minute, but I can't help overlooking her atrocious PM performance in week three - she did next to nothing right, she chastised her team, and she had a generally negative vibe 4) Richard - he's mellowed in recent weeks, but he still has this smugness about him I can't stand. He also makes some rather bizarre mistakes (in France, for example) 5) Gary - he's been invisible for half the process and when he wasn't he was visible in the wrong light. Hmph. |

1. Vana - Rarely messes up and when she does completely owns up to it. Was treading dangerous ground tonight but before now has had a fantastic run (dodgy PM turn aside), really good team player and really well rounded candidate over all.
2. Richard - You can honestly just copy and paste what I said about Vana and have it apply to Richard too. Might not always see when he's in the wrong but 9 times out of 10 he's just trying to do right by his team. 3. Joseph - A competent salesman. Lord Sugar clearly likes him. Totally rubs me up the wrong way though with his shit eating smirk and dodgy stache but I guess that doesn't fault his abilities. [long gap in quality] 4. Charleine - No way in hell is she winning. She's being set up for a fall in the interview stages I am sure of it. She may be a competent saleswoman but most of the time she's let her emotions get the better of her (interactions with Selina, THAT task with Richard, tonight in the boardroom) so much so that I just can't see Lord Sugar honestly wanting to work with someone like her. She's too abrasive. 5. Gary - Top guy imo, but sadly he's been completely unspectacular. Really not sure how he got this far in the process or even how he made it through the TV applications because ironically the most remarkable thing about Gary is the extent to which he is so completely UNremarkable. |

1. Richard - Arrogant arsehole but he is the only credible business person there. Fully deserves to win
2. Vana - Bitch, but seems better than the other 3 3. Gary - Done nothing 4. Charlene - Terrible PM two times now 5. Joseph - Just a horrid little rat. |

1) Vana. She's a fantastic communicator and seller. But she's not shown us good management.
2) Richard. Great at almost everything to be honest. It's just the fact he is irritating that puts him below. [Long gap] 3) Joseph. He's an OK mananger, he's grafted and he can sell. But he comes across a bit unpolished and immature compared to the others. 4) Gary. He has been one of the better managers, and is very professional, but has been in the background for too much of the series. 5) Charleine. Good at sales, but hideously bad people skills, and terribly volatile character. |

Vana/Richard, not particularly likable but competent and few of this year's candidates have been likable, which is fair enough I suppose. Why would they give a crap as long as they get the investment.
Then the rest all much of a muchness. |

This final will remain a tie between Richard and Vana, both formidable. All the others this season have been lightweights, tbh.

1. Vana - BY MILES the best for me. The only one who would be an actual pleasure to work with. Okay, so she messed up a bit this week, but overall she's been the most competent and complete candidate.
2. Richard - annoying at times, but extremely competent. Sometimes I really like him, other times I want to strangle him. He doesn't work well with other people as he believes he is the best at everything, plus he has a tendency to throw others under the bus. Still, deserves to get to the final. BIG gap in quality: 3. Joseph - David was right - he IS just a good salesman. He doesn't illustrate any other business skills beyond that. Ludicrously overrated, yet will almost certainly win, as Sugar seems in love with him. HUGE gap in quality: 4. Charleine - she's becoming a bit of a joke to me now. She's a very hard worker, but I can't see much, if any, business acumen from her whatsoever. She has been a disastrous PM twice now (even Selina was a better PM), and her conduct is too unprofessional to be taken seriously. 5. Gary - amazed he got this far. Brett wasn't amazing, but he deserved to be there more than Gary. What has he actually done? |

1. Vana - Has came a long way since the France task and seems like the most professional person in the process
2. Joseph - Works hard and Lord Sugar likes him a lot. Will just miss out on winning 3. Richard - By the looks of the next time trailer he may bottle the interview process 4. Charliene - Absolutely crumbled in this task and should have gone. Brett was a much better candidate 5. Gary - Why is he still here? David was so much better and Gary should have been fired after the party planning task |

1. Vana - Started out as bossy, but has proved herself to be a very good candidate. A very worthy final five candidate (and could be slotted into any other series there). And she has the same kind of roots as myself
![]() 2. Richard - Another good candidate, but his smugness can be his downfall. At the beginning the obvious winner, now I can see him failing to get to that final 3. Joseph - A very solid performance, no big falls or big rises. Just very decent all series (reminds me a bit of Lee; so him winning would be the lesser of all evils). 4. Charleine - Someone who takes things very personal (in a business sense). A big risk to give the investment to her, as she has a very unpredictable nature (just go on twitter to see). 5. Gary - Uhhmmm........he is probably a good postman?? |

1)Vana - Still several faults and had that horrendous Week 3 performance but the least worst.
2)Richard - Most competent probably of those left but not a good team player and false. No clue how any of the other 3 have got to the final five or how they'd be a business partner. I'd dread to go into business with Charlene or Joseph and Gary has done sod all of impact in the process. Joseph and Charlene have both sold well but done sod all apart from that. Worst final 5 ever - basically only 2 feel like they should be there. Seems ridiculous looking back some of the people who've gone and some who've stayed. David in particular and also Ruth should've lasted much longer - both showed more business ability and spark than many of the final 5. Even in Series 8, the likes of Nick, Ricky, Tom and Jade had all shown in some way that they deserved to be there. It basically seems to be who's survived this series. Surely has to be a Richard and Vana final? |
