For a few weeks this series was feeling a bit drab, but these last few weeks have brought it back to life. Can't wait for the interviews! Hoping for a Joseph vs. Vana final.

Not the candidates themselves or Alan's new team, but a few surprising turns in the process have saved this season for me. Scot leaving, the Selina drama and the double team boardroom this week certainly helped keep it a bit less stale.

There was something about the double team boardroom that felt a little "desperate" to me. But yes Selina v Charleine and Scott leaving have both done a fair amount to redeem this season from being a total snoozefest.

Charleine vs Selina was fairly entertaining, and Scott's departure was dramatic. I also thought Elle's firing was very shocking and good TV. Other than that, most of the entertainment has been from laughing at how useless a lot of them have been at the tasks.

I think it says something though when the main storyline has been a bitter, ex contestant going out of her way to bring the show down in the media.

The past 3 weeks have saved this season, and based on Scott resigning and the double boardroom alone I rate it higher than the dull season 8

Claude hasn't impressed me massively as an advisor though, Nick was so much better

Agree, Nick was better. But I find Claude FAR better than Karren. Claude and Nick would've been a better lineup.

Agreed. Karren has turned really nasty this series. But I think Lord Sugar wants one female on the panel though

No you can't have two men that's implying men are better than women in business and that's sexism. Jesus Christ BBC you've let your standards slip you're getting fined.

That's why they don't have Nick and Claude, though it would be a better panel. Karren should maybe be an interviewer, as she's quite harsh and has some good put-downs. Plus she intervenes with tasks way too much. It's not her task to do.
