This really is a pathetic attempt at a free to air channel from such a big company. I kid you not they only show about half a dozen programmes over and over again, week in week out! I know many other channels can be repetitive in this multi-channel age, but not this bad! It could be so much better if they pulled their fingers out of their backsides and can be bothered to put some decent stuff on it. Pfft...

They could have shown some older Fox shows.

Even X Files would have been good on this channel.

The ratings for this channel are (deservedly) awful. It makes TruTV look like a great success.

Too many lifestyle channels like this on Sky that's the problem.

Don't knock TruTV. It gets better viewing figures and has a higher weekly reach than YourTV has ever had and has much better and varied programming on it.

TruTV's ratings aren't terrible, but they've had a slow start in the UK. As you say though it easily beats YourTV.

I only watch trutv for conspiracy theory with jesse ventura - thats the only programme that stands out being different on TV par H2 - I think when some new channels come along we hope it maybe different but ends up being like any other channel out there, going down slowly the "reality" route

Pleased that everyone here has noticed this and agrees. The programming lineup at launch a few months ago was dire and still is now, seems to be almost 'exactly' the same content now as it was then with no improvements made. It's no wonder the ratings are so bad for this channel when they make no effort and show the same limited selection of crap shows all the time! I'm sure there's plenty of other things they could put on it if they tried. Even Sky manage to do a fairly decent job with Pick these days and Tru TV isn't that bad with a bit more variety. Come on Fox, sort it out!

You mean Murdoch's channel designed to get people to get Sky in order to view the better programmes isn't showing the better programming?

Who would have thought it!

Nope! Better programming as in better older series from their archives and more variety, not the latest shows that you would see on their pay channels obviously. Is that too much to ask when other channels manage it?

No one would watch this channel as a teaser for SKY One/Living or whatever. Its a terrible advert.

I can’t help but think TruTV’s start wasn’t helped by the fact it was allocated a channel number high up in the documentaries section of the Sky EPG. Since it moved to the entertainment section its ratings have improved.

I lost interest when they ditched Conan.
Me too!

Tru TV would have got good ratings for America's Got Talent.

Your TV were showing Shark in 11am double bills not long ago which was enjoyable viewing, but that's now finished.

A tiny bit of extra effort is going into YourTV this January...

Bones
Starts 23rd January at 9pm
Watch the escapades of Forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan and FBI agent Booth right from the beginning on YourTV.

Southwest Of Salem
One-off special on Sunday 15th January at 9pm
The UK premiere of this documentary explores the nightmarish persecution of four Latina lesbians wrongfully convicted of allegedly gang raping two little girls.

Princess Diana's Death: Mystery Solved
22nd January at 9pm
Internationally renowned detective, Colin McLaren – the man who cracked the case of who really killed JFK – sets out to find answers to questions that still surround the death of Princess Diana.

...it's not much but shows that they haven't given up yet.

I never not really watched Your TV much as there has not really been much on the channel that I wanted to watch.
I did watch Fox at times before it was removed from BT TV.
As said Fox could have done a little better with Your TV. Even Pick is a little better than Your TV. Not that I watch Pick every day but do watch Pick 2 or 3 times a week.
As for Tru TV I have no really watched the channel since it started broadcasting.

YourTV doesn't add much to the Freeview lineup - it's essentially the same crime dross over. I myself don't watch it - but looking through the EPG, the content is poor. Contrast that with Pick, which is a decent offering from Sky at least.
