I don't know about anyone else but I was in fits I thought it was blooming funny almost satirical as if based on a show how not to win in business. )))

On a side note Brett should have brought Vana in for ruining the product, I thought everything else they did was pretty good given they only had two days.

Sugar was on form, and not all of it scripted I think

- when he said that the bar looks the same going in as it would going out
- the 'elvis parsley' quip

Ah, there was one other one too to Charleine's team but I've forgot it

Yes, I was expecting it to be mentioned.

Well yes just last night's was extra funny.

I think they should have kept Brett in for the interview stage as it would have been interesting seeing him waffle his way out of a corner.

The show knows what its audience wants - laughing at the cock-ups and the stupidity.

The problem comes when it reaches the final stages and they have to convince viewers that these are incredible candidates. I'm sure they are in their line of work outside of the show but it feels a bit rich trying to spin it like that.

Exactly.

I think when the show was less exposed on BBC2 they could present it as a serious process, the move to BBC1 is a different demographic and they thought they needed to add humour and idiocy is the only way to show humour on this show it seems.

2 days to develop a product is just ridiculous. Unless you get lucky, you are bound to fail. If they want it to be serious, give them at least 4 days.

Me too, especially when they all trooped off to the Bridge Cafe. Business must be looking up there!

That was so funny. All of them hunched over dissecting their '0 - 0 draw'.

All the tasks are ridiculous!

The vegetable crisps should have won in my opinion. Ignoring the wording (or lack of) the packaging and branding was miles better than the cereal bars, and the product was better too - even with the oil.

Yeah I agree with this. The oil issue could have been fixed easily enough.

I think Charleine's name was spelled wrongly on one of the captions on the Final Five programme.

I saw that too. And also Joseph wrote ''Rejuvinate" in capitals on his pad when sketching the look of their wrapper. I was quite looking forward to seeing both spelling errors appear on the finished products and the hilarity/rowing that would have ensued!!

Richard is dyslexic so castigating him over that would be unacceptable.
Someone at the agency or one of the production team should have spell checked it for him

Richard wasn't at the keyboard - he was sat next to the designer who was doing all the typing. Very surprised neither had corrected it immediately. I was wondering if the agency people used are told to do exactly as the candidate says, including misspellings, and not to give help. But given they didn't make anything of it in the programme maybe just a case of both not realising the spelling error for whatever reason. Let's hope Richard had a good proof checker for his book! I didn't know he was dyslexic - did that come up on one if the episodes?
