Anita and Kellie not the lowest scorers?

I just noticed the couples lowest scored dances...

Anita and Gleb: Cha-Cha-Cha / Charleston / Samba - 27
Kellie and Kevin: Tango / Cha-Cha-Cha - 27

Georgia and Giovanni: Waltz - 25
Jay and Aliona: Quickstep - 25
Katie and Anton: Cha-Cha-Cha - 20

So well done Anita and Kellie I guess.

(That was the week Jay tripped wasn't it?)

No, he tripped in his foxtrot. His QS was a hot mess once he mistimed a jump, he couldn't get back into the routine. It deserved it's scores though, but I consider that the only one he actually "danced" badly.

May have been a blessing in disguise for him. Any criticism that he was going to be invincible and far too good to compete with was squashed just one week after the Jive.

As for the others:
I can't remember the GG Waltz at all

The Katie Cha Cha must of been one of those weeks early in the series when it became clear that "Katie!Anton!Latin!" was the sequel to "Katie!Anton!Ballroom!" that no one needed to see

The Kellie scores must of been during weeks when she'd spilt Craig's martini or something and he marked her down as revenge

The Anita scores show that she has been marked pretty consistently all series (either because she's always been undermarked/ hasn't improved all series long)

Kellie came fully formed to the contest, and that, her OTT high-pitched enthusiasm and of course her pro partner, all led to a huge torrent of unpleasant personal abuse and name calling on here. That in itself was overshadowed by the anti-Peter tirades, meaning that her portfolio of dances with excellent technique, particularly footwork is under regarded and that stat is very unsurprising.

Her rhumba is already being written off; last year Kevin's semi-final routine with Frankie (a much-less accomplished dancer IMO) scored a more than decent 34 (Craig didn't like it much) - I expect Kellie to score higher.

Katie did the Cha-Cha-Cha in week 3 i believe the Salsa in week 5 and Paso in week 6 both those only got 1 more point

I don't normally feel your Anita worship but given the punitive remarks made about her on this forum I'm supporting her now. Go Anita but arrive after Katie please.

Katie's cha cha cha was her poorest dance by a long way even though the judges would have us believe her paso and salsa were not much better.

Aww thanks.

To be honest, I don't mind where she places, I just feel she deserves to make the final.

I feel that way about Katie too. I doubt she will win but just to get her to the final is my desire. So happy to lend some support to Anita and Gleb too.

I think it would be a good end to the story if Katie was the one to take Anton to the final.

So I'll be keeping fingers crossed for both Anita and Katie.

Given the erratic nature of the judges' scoring, you may as well say Anita and Gleb scored fish for their samba, while Kellie and Kevin scored jabberwocky for their tango.
