Okay for me without doubt, the best episode was number 4. No Holiday makers off a plane for a change. Not a well known cast. I didn't guess who the murderer was. Danny John Jules was excellent. I doubt if this will get passed to the team of writers, but please can we have more "native island murders" and a few less holiday maker murders. Also, couple of nit picks that's driving me nuts...
1: If the jails are in the police station, then when they finish their shift, who looks after the prisoners? Do they leave them there alone at night, unattended? 2: What happens when the Police station is shut and locked up? If a crime takes place, does anyone answer? |

Guadelope has the main switchboard and can contact the team by mobile. Fortunately, that has never happened when they are getting smashed in Catherine's bar.

1. They only all finish at the same time, and go for a drink if there are no prisoners. If there are prisoners, they split their shifts. Fortunately, murder is the only crime commited, so the jails are rarely used as the murderer is immediately shipped off to Guadelope.

Well, the Chef episode was slightly different. Did anybody actually work it out?

I had recently read a book where someone impersonated the murder victim so he would be seen waving after his death to prove he was still alive, so I did guess that bit, but I didn't guess who the murderer was.
I liked Duane finding a boy to mentor, but I'm not interested in JP's romance, and are all those lines about finding love meant to imply that Humphrey and Florence are going to end up together? I just can't see it, and there didn't seem to be any reaction shots etc to back it up, but I can't see the point of those lines if that isn't the plan? |

Enjoyed it, getting rather fond of JP, who's a sweetie, but really hope they don't go down the Humphrey/Florence romance route, I like them as friends. |

As far as I'm concerned and a great many others (allegedly) Ben Miller was Death in Paradise. The show no longer exists since he left.

It does however lead to the question: Why are you posting in a thread for a show which "no longer exists"? Did the others you represent demand you to? I think the show has just adapted to the various characters that have left and joined. The feeling of the show is the same, as are the plots and scenery - Which is why I still love the show and look forward to each new sereis. |

How magnamiomous of you to post on behalf of (allegedly) so many!

Just as you can love a show that stinks to high heaven. |

Most incredibly stupid was the decision to put the new woman in shorts. The show has a puerile demographic, it seems. |

The show is lightweight fluff, but it was better written when Miller was in it.

The show no longer existing remark is a metaphorical one but then I'm sure you already knew that. I'm glad you still like the show as it needs all the support it can get. |

Must say it was gross stupidity of the brother to try and burn a part metal necklace when he could have just chucked it into the sea that was only a few yards behind him.
