He has a large posterior for a dancer and sticks it out too much for my liking.
And he also cannot do Latin to save his life.
I like his personality but have never been able to see why people like his dancing, it makes me cringe.

He has a big mouth that he won't keep closed too.

Anton has done well before of course.

Series 1 - Third place with Lesley Garrett.

Series 3 - Fifth place with Patsy Palmer.

Series 7 - Fourth place with Laila Rouass.

I thought without the controversy that struck series 7 that he and Laila would've made the final but it was not to be.

Glad Katie and Anton have made it. Well done sir!

Well done indeed Liparus, thank you for listing Antons past triumphs on Strictly, lets all hope he can add the glitter ball to that list this year, he would be a most deserving winner, that's for sure

He is so irritating when he is upstairs with Claudia, constantly interrupting her, hopefully, with any luck he will be the first one out on Saturday.

I agree with your assessment of his dancing, but I can't stand his personality either.
I think he comes off as quite unpleasant, just my opinion, he could be lovely for all I know.

I think Katie is the worst celeb left and Anton is the worst pro, both worse than some who have already gone.
Katie started off well, hence all the "Anton has a contender..." nonsense (he's had contenders before), but I see little improvement from Katie. I don't know if Anton has steered her well.

Should be first out in the final just because he is the perfect Latin dancer (roll eyes)

I must admit that I never really warmed to Anton until last year when I enjoyed his relationship with Judy Murray and finally 'got him'.

I am really pleased that he has made it to his first final, I wanted to see him and Katie in the final but I never expected them to make it.

I was convinced it would be Helen, Georgie, Jay and ether Anita or Kellie.

It just goes to show how (pleasantly) wrong you can be

I agree, but this year I don't even like his partner whose ego is almost as large as Anton's.

Someone needs to interrupt all the gushing with a bit of humour Walter now that Sir Brucies humorous add libs are sadly no longer with us.

Sorry Terry, but I can't see the connection between Brucie and humour, now if you had said tedious and laboured, I would have agreed wholeheartedly.

Sir Brucie is one of the few talented clean entertainers on TV today, Anton is out of the same mould that is why so many viewers love him Walter, I'm sure you will come round in the end when you get to know him.

I've met him four times, twice during Anton/Erin weekends, once in an after-show meet and greet and once somewhere completely out of context (although dance related). Each time I introduced myself with the name I used on A&E's forum. During the first weekend, he spent some time talking to my husband about golf, and the last time we met them (the out of context time) not only did I get a big hug, but he asked my husband how the golf was doing. Always thought he was lovely, although I can certainly see how people can find him annoying. He is a beautiful ballroom dancer.

Get to know him!!

Terry, I remember him back in 1958 when I worked in the West End. I used to see him every morning, walking to the London Palladium. That was the year that he got his first big break, and I remember him when he was slick and polished, but there comes a time when it is best to retire with dignity, and leave people with fond memories, rather than squirming with embarrassment at someone who is just a shadow of their youthful self.

Wow! Walter, that's an amazing story, I would love to hear any more fond memories that you have tucked away.

Are you looking forward to seeing Anton in the final like the rest of us.

But Sir Bruce Forsyth has had a long career as an all round entertainer both on stage and TV. Anton's is a dancer, he does a stage show for dedicated fans I believe but don't think he has done much else on stage. His TV shows, apart from Strictly Come Dancing, have not been successful.

I don't see how they are from the 'same mould'. Sir Bruce Forsyth career path has been very different.

What a lovely interview with Katies daughters on It Takes Two tonight, Katie had tears in her eyes, they are rightly so proud of her, so emotional.

Well, since you ask Terry, I am looking forward to seeing him leaving first.

Did you mean 'mold', Terry?

Both Brucie and Anton do, to a degree, personify the damp-smelling woolly growth often seen on decaying organic matter.

Yes, and I thought that she was lovely, it is just that I can't abide her gurning partner.

She is very happy to have reached the finals, but I am sure that she won't be surprised if she is the first to go.

Don't sell Katie short Walter, she could surprise a few people tonight.

Katie is not that short ,with those lovely long legs , Tezza !!

As for Anton don't you think it's time he goes out with a bump and a grind ,
Let some younger talent be given a chance ,

I predict this to be his last show , don't see him being as a judge or presenter ,but he would be fabulous at Butlins Bognor Regis ,
