Pretty sure a record has been broken on another BB

Last night, the final of Italian BB was on. And here were the votes at the vote freeze after the first closure, and then the Final 2 close:

First vote freeze:
Federica- 49%
Manfredi- 20%
Simone- *Unsure but he got 16% in the votes for the Final 3.
Alessandro- 5% (so unbelievably arrogant and made Federica feel like s*** despite being on her team, in this series up until last month, they played in pairs. He thought he had it in the bag!)
Kevin- 4%

Final 2:

Federica- 88%
Manfredi- 12%

Has anybody in the entire world of BB in any series won by such a landslide? Surely not.

Josie had 77.5% of the final 5. They didn't do a vote freeze as no-one could be bothered after the 4 way eviction made the winner obvious.

There have been a couple of bigger head-to-head victories, both in Brazil:

Series 12 - 92%
Series 7 - 91%

Other landslide victories:

South Africa Series 1 - 90.04% (out of 4)
Spain Series 7 - 87.2% (out of 3)
Argentina Series 1 - 83.56% (out of 4)
UK Series 11 - 77.5% (out of 5)
Croatia Series 1 - 77% (out of 4)

I looked on BB world and yes there were 2 on there, one from Brazil and one from South Africa who had more than 88%, and then one of the newer series of BB of Brazil too.

The others had lower % but more people in the finals. My original post was solely on the final 2 %, but I see that nowadays they don't do "final 2 %" anymore.

that doesnt surprise me, she literally had zero competition. evicting 4 housemates in the last week and using vote to 'evict' to do so pretty much ensured she was the winner.
and people think the Channel 4 producers were anymore competent than channel 5..

Yep. Whenever someone comments on how incredible C4 was compared to C5 (as C4 has always been put up on a massive pedestal), I tell them to think about these four things:

1. The vote to let Nikki back in.
2. The All Female BB8 launch
3. The BB8 Half Way House where BB would keep swapping HMs from house to house in a bid to come up with things.
4. And last but not least... what you just mentioned. The Quad eviction to get rid of Josie's competition.

At least 4 in 4 out was done at the beginning of the series where other HMs had room to grow and it didn't stop any particular people from threatening to take the title off. The Quad thing was worse because in one swoop, they got rid of ALL the potential winners.

Yes, C4 had live feed but they effed up a lot of times. C5 have probably done more little mistakes, C4 did less but more damaging mistakes. I think people forget that.

No, I've not forgotten.

Nikki was evicted because of a daft twist to "punish" Jayne. She didn't win so her being there was of no more consequence than Jon being there at the final in BB4.

The all-female BB8 launch was an experiment that failed ratings-wise but interesting none-the-less. The HWH swapping was irritating but of no consequence.

By BB11 C4 were rid of the show. Just UBB to round off the contract. Starting UBB straight after the end of BB11 was the problem as the BB11 HMs were supposed to believe the show still had a few weeks left to run and there were too many HMs still left with a few days to go. It was the last twist on civilian BB during the C4 era and the worst one, as if they cared.

As Josie would likely have been evicted in the 4 way twist the HMs effectively voted her the winner by saving her. If Steve had been in the final in her place either he or Dave would have won. We dodged a bullet there.

I think either she, or maybe at a push, John James, would always have won BB11. The JJJ fans made sure that anyone that got on the wrong side of them were evicted when they were up for the public vote. Nobody was seemingly allowed to be negative in any way about them. And I think BB knew that, and made sure that BB11 became the JJJ show.
