I would be sad if Tess left. It's better now she's the main presenter. I hope that Tess has the job for as long as she wants.

But Strictly has always been a bit silly, and it makes it much more light hearted.
Tess annoys me sometimes, but I do think she is professional, and is an integral part of the show. I'd be sad to see her go.
I like Tess but I've been wondering if they'll replace her with Anton - or try him out with a three-person presenting team.

Just for one series to test the waters. I think he has a dynamic presence and would be sorely missed if they got rid of him - and yet, how many years past 50 can he continue to be a pro? They're already dodging him in a lot of the group dances.

3 people would be too much but would be happy to see Tess go and Anton replace her
Tess is doing okay. She's not perfect but she knows the show inside out and is way better than any of those mentioned as possible replacements, especially Anton who proved on Hole in the Wall that he is not a great presenter. Anton is bearable in small doses, not for the whole show.

I agree. I like Tess and think she does a good job and is a great improvement on Bruce. I think she is a good combination with Claudia who is free to be more whacky.

This would be the worst thing ever. Anton has been given a chance to prove himself as a host on several occasions and has been rubbish on both occasions.
I would love to see Zoe replace Tess. I think her and Claudia would make a great team. Zoe's far more natural and as she's done Strictly she has more understanding of how the celebrities feel and more knowledge about the dances. Tess does my head in with all that pouting and patronising the contestants. The only thing in her favour is that she's marginally better than Brucie 
i hope so. i can't stand her gushiness or how she tells everyone that the audience are "ON THEIR FEET!!!" all the time.
Perhaps we wil FINALLY see the end of the repetitive Tess-bothering on here in 2016, whether she leaves or not

Tess and Claudia are fantastic in hosting the most popular light entertainment show on TV.
All you need to do is look at the ailing XF to see what occurs when you take out a good presenter and replace him with two poor presenters, the mistakes not knowing the rules and what occurs when shows low production values at XF.
SCD gets 11 million viewers, XF gets 6 million, Tess and Claudia show the others how it's done.

I agree. She's really settled into the her role now and makes a great partnership with Claudia. It feels like they've been presenting the show for years.

To whom has it 'become clear'? You and a few others who seem fixated on Tess? You don't speak for me and it is far from 'clear' that 'many' find Tess annoying.
Strictly is watched by millions. DS ScD boards are a tiny teeny microcosm of extreme opinions that do not in any way, shape or form represent the larger populace.
You're fooling yourself if you think your opinions or dislike of Tess matters one jot to the BBC.

I don't think the fact that a handful of people on DS find her annoying is enough reason for Tess to leave the show.
It's not often I dust off my digital spy username, but please let it be the end of Tess. She has no talent at presenting and it's a wonder that she's been able to hang on as long as she has. Wooden, dead behind the eyes and vapid.
Was lucky enough to go to the Christmas filming a few years ago and she was just as annoying in person. Bruce, however was lovely!

Did CIN miss terry wogan half as much as HE thought they would? I think not.....another example of a big ego being slowly punctured. Tess knows her limitations, but knows HOW to present. She lets claudia be the 'funny girl' and it works. Some of t'others mentioned think they can be jack of all trades when in fact they are masters of none!!
