Really decent and thorough all around. You don't many like that these days. In fact, I'd add Jason from a few series' ago to that list too.

Undoubtedly he'd be a Top (LOL ) He's the flavour of the year for me, along with Aaron from Emmerdale and Aiden from Corrie. And contrary to popular belief, Brett is not arrogant or incompetent. He was a worthy candidate and deserved to make it far. His business plan would have proven to be successful among a lot of investors I'm sure.

I very much liked him too. One of my favourite Series 11 candidates, and one of the best in terms of competency (obviously he had his cock-ups though).

Lol. He looks incredible for 28. Wish I had his physique 3 years ago.

That's 100% true. No candidate is ever perfect but hhe did fit the bill for going far in the process

Yeah, I agree, he seems like a really good guy. I'm not into body building types much, but he looked quite striking and handsome on "You're Fired" too.

I wasn't much into body building types either until Brett the stud-muffin appeared on our screens. I can't find a single fault with him. I'd ask Santa for him as a Crimbo present.

I like Brett and he is a good looking guy, I'd have put him older than 28 though.
His physique is odd though, he has bulked his chest and upper arms up to much somewhat they don't hang naturally but curve out in a hulk impression. So that when he walks he looks more like an ape than a man, definitely not my cup of tea at all.

His physique is perfect as he has a FINE sculptured body. It's a shame he's spoken for!

Damn, your obsession with this guy is kinda scary

He's far from a body builder by the way - as in a million miles away. #RoseTintedSpectacles

Brett had bizarre speech patterns: fluent but often finding the wrong word. If there are any psycholinguists or neuropsychologists on DS, is there a technical term?

Lol, I never spotted that. I always listen intently and feel he spoke in a clear and cconcise manner. He used the correct words.

LOL. Brett often made no sense at all with his mangled use of English. Sounded to me like he was trying to use vocabulary he didn't have to try and impress people. Maybe he felt the much more basic words he was familiar with weren't good enough. He made up some completely new words in the process.

Brett's constant gabbling was used to cover up the fact that he is not very bright, and that's putting it kindly.

That's a matter of opinion, NOT a proven fact. And that's putting it accurately.

He did make a few words up which Lord Sugar also pointed out.

Seemed like a nice enough contestant towards the end but was very brutish at the beginning.

He came across very well on YF. Shame was not as chirpy as that when he was on the show. Mind you, it's probably the edit he got.

He may be decent and although you see him as "thorough" all around I see him as wooden and dogmatic. In fact I think he is not too bright and I doubt he could be inventive.

I loved the way Brett rolled his eyes when Richard advised Vana and him to make the crisps taste nice.

Remember how scared Jason was when he was called back into the boardroom after the caravan task so Lord Sugar could congratulate him? Such a nice guy but was wrong for the show. And Brett kind of falls into that category. I think the Brett and Scott feud was more Scott's fault too

I think most of this series' contestants have been very pleasant.

So far the only one who I couldn't really stand on YF was April- though Selina didn't appear

I wouldn't really judge their personality solely on boardroom exchanges and what they say on task. the show is heavily edited anyway. Off camera I'd say the majority of them are " really decent all round"

But surely if one want to be a a success then boardroom expertise is vital.

Personally I don't think that any of the final five are much cop and would not last five minutes in a charged business situation.

Vana has got a lot of flack on here but I think she is the best of what is left - and in fact I think she has been pretty good all round.

In reality, the boardrooms go on for hours and hours. so much will be cut out. we ultimately see, what, 20 minutes overall?

Well if that is the case and therefore after cutting we are left with what they consider they that to best to show us then my comments are ever more valid.

In my job I have trained many people like this -and so called "graduates " - and they are almost universally useless and don't have the brains they were born with.

I like Vana - and she is the best of a very poor lot in my opinion
