Beyonce will be an interesting one...possibly her most interesting/exciting move yet. I'm looking forward to seeing where she will go with the next album as her last one was huge and she released it out of the blue with no promo, no fan fare. I wonder will she do that yet again. I'm just hoping we're not going to get a whole Beyonce and Jay Z album as I know that was rumoured. I don't think we will, but I am a bit worried. I like her on her own. Also, I suspect her next album will be the complete opposite of BEYONCE, which was her at her naughtiest. I personally would love an album with songs in the vein of Countdown, Schoolin Life, Love On Top.

I would also say Rihanna but considering the singles that were released earlier in 2015, I don't hold out much hope for Anti being a great album. I can already imagine people calling it Anti Climax. There is so much pun material right there.

London Grammar are the one act whose second album I'm really interested in. I loved their debut If You Wait, and Hannah Reid's vocals are awesome. I really hope they create a solid second album that really propels them and their career.

Bruno Mars - might seem like an odd choice - but he's always impressed me as an artist. Ever since his breakthrough single Nothin' On You (by B.O.B. which Bruno featured on) I've liked loads of his singles and album tracks. Considering just how massive Uptown Funk! was, I can imagine Bruno Mars having a massive year in 2016 with a new album packed full of hit singles.

Also going to throw in a random one; Nicholas McDonald. Seems to be heavily detested which I've never understood as when his voice is on top form, he is an excellent singer. I've already heard a couple of songs from his second album and, imo, they sound brilliant. Sadly I doubt the media will give him much support but if the album is released, I'll probably get it - or at least cherry pick some songs off it (depending on what the rest of the album is like).

There were rumours that in the days leading up to Christmas Day, that her long awaited eighth album was going to be released on Christmas Day. Since we have now past that milestone, there is still no album. I do not think the album is finished and she wants to ensure that what she puts out she is proud of. This is why I think it will be released early next year, before she goes on her world tour to promote it. She is making her fans wait a long time though and has to be careful she doesn't lose any over this.

Bruno Mars is one to watch out for. I really enjoyed his last album and it will be interesting to see where he goes.

As for Nicholas, I remember he did a small tour last year and came around to Fife (where I live ) performing in a neighbouring town. He comes from Wishaw (south-east of Glasgow) and I do think in general, that the media can be very snobby and rather cruel to Scottish artists. I also think that it has been a while since he was finalist on The X Factor - two years ago in fact and would people remember him.

I would like to see a quick follow-up from Years & Years and as people have already mentioned, London Grammar. Also, AlunaGeorge and Clean Bandit are due some new music I think, AG released a buzz single or new single in 2015 but no follow-up album or re-release materialised.

I'd also like to see some new music from Jhene Aiko, although she had a few more commercial song features last year that I liked, but not in the same way I like her previous dreamy chilled-out stuff, so I'm not sure. I get the sense that she's an artist on the cusp of either staying in the more indie R&B zone or making the crossover into mainstream hip-hop pop at the cost of making a completely different style of music.

Would be great to see Nelly Furtado and Pink making a comeback as some of you mentioned. I would expect Pink to release late in the year if she does at all, after the trap-EDM waves have passed, because her sound will probably be more of the same as she's done in her previous albums except slightly more modern.

I expect Gaga to release in summer or late in the year as well; off the back of American Horror story she has rationale for a new sound as well as people interested in her and where she's been.

One artist that I'm surprised no-one's clamouring about is Katy Perry. She's been very quiet since Dark Horse and I haven't really seen or heard her talked or wondered about either.

I actually did mention Katy Perry in the 2016 music prediction thread suggesting a new album would be released in the new year, with the lead single going to #1 in most countries.

I just find Katy Perry, as an artist, really inconsistent. I like some of her songs, but no so much the others so I've never bought any of her albums. She's another one of those artists where I'm more likely to just cherry pick the songs I like the most off her albums as I know about half of the album I won't like.

She has recently done that H&M Christmas advert so who knows what's around the corner.

Carly Rae Jepsen (won't happen I know)
Swedish House Mafia (won't happen I know)

If even half of those happened (hopefully including the top two) I'd be in heaven!
