What a surprise that the jealousy card is being played. Rita is stunning looking but a fairly mediocre judge who isn't very intelligent

I don't think it's her looks that are putting anyone off, it's more like the fact that she's got an opinion, some attitude, and she's intelligent with what she says. Some people find that uncomfortable coming from a woman...

It's really put me off this year more than ever.”

What bits are scripted? I prefer Strictly, the judges comments are scripted on there?

She plays dirty to get her own way. ..cruise ship comment this weekend. ...her crique at 4th impact was below the belt....then goes and sings the song with Louisa the girls sang previously!!! Her treatment of Monica, who she did not want to mentor, over dressgate was the last straw for me tbh....she needs to go. ..and never return. Kelly and Nicole would not have behaved like that. ..but again, they are alot more classy!!

I don't think the judges comments are scripted but the segment bits just before the performances are so scripted it makes my ears bleed.

I think I'd have liked strictly if I didn't have X-Factor. Strictly is 100% more lighthearted and fun and I applaud them for that - it's something that's actually showing the XF up as tiresome.

And just for the record.

Rita is stunning. It's not because she is a pretty woman with an opinion that puts me off her. It's her tactical behavior that is the big bother for me and her sly digs.

At what point did I ever bring up or suggest her being an attractive woman with a mind of her own as a reason I hadn't warmed to her?? Talk about putting words in my mouth!!

I don't care if you are male or female, hot or not, everyone can be either liked or disliked by the PERSON they are.

Personally i think to do the mentoring bit, the judges should be people with experience of producing successful artists but under the current format i thought Rita was more use than Grimy.
I'm stuck as to why they thought a DJ would be a good judge or mentor. Its starting to get like Celeb BB where nobody suitable wants to touch it. Apparently an ex con with a thing for public toilets wants a go now.

She seemed to want to soak up the attention on Louisa a little too much, jumping in at every moment, running up on stage, being the first to get the mic after Louisa won...

It made Sharon Osborne look positively restrained the year Sam Bailey won (at the height of the "Sharon has never had a winning act previously, will she do it in her final ever year of X Factor?" narrative)

I think she's more suited to the voice. I did prefer her on there. I went off her a bit when she sent 4th impact home, and her what she said to them.

Nick has been brilliant this year. Who cares if he isn't a CEO or a popstar? I'm not his biggest fan but he's built a career in the music/entertainment industry and he's more than delivered as a judge for me. His song choices for Seann and Mason in particular were inspired - unlike the same dirge Simon gets his contestants to sing every year. What other judge would have chosen a Mamas & Papas song for their contestant to sing? Or a David Bowie song? He clearly has a wide range of knowledge about music, both past and present, so it's good seeing him on the panel. It's much better than having a "popstar" judge who doesn't know the definition of Rock Week or who doesn't know an Aretha Franklin classic. And it's FAR better than having an ex-boyband manager who has no idea how to mentor an act without a penis and whose music vocabulary only consists of Westlife and Boyzone.

I don't really like her personality. She seems like an attention seeker, and she's always coming out with comments that make me cringe. I also think she takes herself quite seriously, there's definitely a strong sense of ego with her, but there's not really much else going on upstairs. It's not really enough to make me dislike her, I'd just leave it at 'not my type'.

Rita has been amazing. She comes across as a genuinely caring and warm person who was really committed to her acts.
She is a great performer and a stunning woman.

I like her,but my god do you see that photo of her house!

Not exactly the "crib" you expect someone who hangs with jayz and chris brown to have is it?

I don't dislike her but sometimes I find myself reaching for the mute button when she speaks.
