his arms didn't bother me so much in the charleston, but in his other dance i had moments of post traumatic flashback to artem's arm wafting....

I'm pretty sure it was intentional.

Either that or Aliona is the queen of styling out a mistake”

I've rewatched it and slowed it down and it doesn't look like a mistake!

My advise to Jay's fan, and I am one of them, is to understand that what goes around comes around and Bruno went as far as to say that he had dropped her intentionally in order to give them a 10, very unfortunate.

Everybody should be worried about what happened tonight, this is how things start to fall apart.”

Lol why should we ne worried? Its a TV programme. You do the worrying, we will do the enjoying

We were mesmerised . When he leaned forward in that charleston his knuckles were almost trailing the floor . I'd never noticed that before . Very weird , but funny to watch .

Not as much as the headache you give us.

I absolutely loved it, once again Jay has produced another wow dance.... IMO of course. I was already spellbound by the performance by the time whatever happened and being alomost at the end it did not detract from the overall performance at all for me.

I just don't know if it was intentional or not but it looked a little odd. the way in which he continued however keeping it all together was for me the mark of a great dancer.

Are others talking about a different lift?

I saw Aliona handstand/cartwheel out of a drop-lift. It could have and probably should have looked slicker but I didn't see any head bouncing.

Might be best if you stick to the thread topic .

He dropped her , plain as day . No point in getting annoyed at it being openly discussed as a huge error in the routine .
It can't be brushed under the carpet or excused .

yeah true, but...
lets be fair.....the dance was going brilliantly...then there was that ...what I am now gonna call... the 'aliona throw' from jay
the nine scores were right...but had to laugh at ali for convincing bruno to throw his ten paddle in the air.
Whatever, others have got away with far more in lesser dances!

Is there anything about this series that people don't think is a fix?

The leaderboard was right tonight so I don't get the faux outrage, tbh. Scoring is always erratic, what matters is the leaderboard placement.

i see what you mean, it suited that charleston though and i did enjoy it although he's definitely an odd build. and a bit of a vacant lot.

Totally agree. There have a few 10s awarded throughout the series with mistakes in them. It was still an amazing routine.
