How does the Final work?

Can anyone clarify how the Final works?

I had thought that the four couples left performed two dances before one was voted off, then the remaining three performed two more dances before the winner was decided. But the rundown on the BBC STrictly page about the Final seems to imply that there will only be one dance for four couples, then one more for the remaining three before the end.

Have I got it wrong?

It's usually Judges Choice, Showdance, an Elimination, Favourite dance.

Where's the rundown on the Strictly page I can't find it.

Thanks, BB.

The bit I saw was here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/arti...mrSMc8Cp/about

On the BBC Strictly Blog main page, it's under "More" (top right) then "About" in the dropdown menu.
