So next Tuesdays edition will cover 26 Nov - 2 Dec.

Then the 3 - 9 Dec issue should be available on Sat 26 Nov.

Correct and next Tuesdays edition is usually the first look at Christmas TV

A bit annoying to be honest.

That timing has to be wrong - Strictly would then have to be either at 5.45 or start at 7.50 and end at 9.05

The first two in the series are scheduled for 8.10pm so be surprised if it is 7.00pm but it's a surprise to see anything in week 51 on the BBC Media site this early!

For me, the M&S ad is the best this year. I don't really know what the Sainsbury's ad is saying about Sainsburys!

I hate ads that dont tell you what the store is about (yes i know WE know) for instance is John Lewis a pet store selling foxes? Wonder how many children will want bouncing dogs for Christmas

ASDA are planning 26 mini ads on what you can get at ASDA - at least M&S got there in the end - Aldi though stright to the point - FOOD!

Yes and look what happened to them. "Business" & "model" not being two words they obviously used in the same sentance!!

It was only in the early 2000's that Woolies tried to become something it wasn't. Had they stopped pretending they were an upmarket store, then they might still exist today.

Well how about this?

I contacted Radio Times to ask why they do a 17-30 December double issue rather than an issue starting on 24th December.

This is the "in depth" answer they gave me!

There are more programmes in the pre-Christmas build-up than there are in the days after New Year.

Plus they also confirmed that the 2017 double issue will be a 16-29 DECEMBER issue!

Don't you just love well reasoned and informative replies? I am a bit annoyed at the News regarding the 2017 issue. What's the point of a double issue in that case?

I think they meant there are more CHRISTMAS programmes in the week building up to Christmas!

There have been two previous 16-29 December issues, one in 1972 and the other in 1995

Hopefully there's enough time for them to change their minds. That's just ridiculous.

I realise that two previous issues covered 16-29 December, but in 2006, they covered 23rd December - 5th January. I find it all confusing. Perhaps it's time for me to retire to a little cave away from confusion and inconsistencies! My little brain can't cope anymore!

I suppose there's always a chance that the RT may have a new editor by Christmas 2017
