Right everyone, apart from RT, what other TV magazine do you buy if any, at Christmas?

I always get RT and TV Times - a sort of a tradition i have carried on from the 80's .

I get TV Times too! I usually use TV Times as the one I cross off the shows I wanna watch funnily enough. I find the content of RT better (interviews and features) but find the TV Times listings easier to read.

I sometimes get inside soap as I do like Eastenders but haven't really been bothered about soaps this year at all, so I doubt I'll get the xmas Inside Soap.

I get Total TV Guide for the last 4 years I only got the RT last year as I won the cover competition.
I never thought I would not get the Christmas RT but I have to say I don't miss it except in a nostalgic way. The non buying is due to content (not good enough on satellite TV) the silly price and the recent run of generally uninspiring Christmas covers. If they improved on these faults I would buy it again quite happily

Here are my entries for the cover competition:

Guess A: A giant tree in the middle of a snowy town centre with people standing around it singing carols

Guess B: A Christmas tree in a house by a log fire; the baubles on the tree, though, have pictures of some of the famous faces we've lost this year.

Those three seem to increase at the last issue most years - be a big surprise if |RT didn't go to £2.50

My Sainsburys are selling real Christmas Trees for £10 - will they last until Christmas if bought so early?

And what a con! FREE CHRISTMAS TREE shouts today's Daily Mail but then you need to read the small print - mail rewards membership needed a unique number and £9.99 p&p so not as free as they have you believe!

B&M are selling 6ft artificial ones for £9.99!

To be honest what do you expert from the Daily Mail, it's always a con, so basically it's a cheap £10 tree flogged as free but £9.99 p&p. I thing it's " outrage" - and a " Christmas tree Con storm", and small print fury. If this was the BBC the DM would insist it's closed down.

Double standards of the DM.

Sort off but you could say the same about the 2009 covers but I'd still call them traditional covers so I'll accept it!
