If ITV are really showing "The Lion King" on Christmas Day, that is a superb alternative to Frozen and Blankety Blank on Christmas Day too is a great idea. Trouble is, though is the blinking David Walliams overkill. Walliams on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Holiday Tuesday...............

Only thing there I like is Doctor Who.

Personally for me, BBC One does great until the Midwife, Eastenders block. Schedule loses momentum, then it's switch off time.

Not sure that Tracey Ullman will stay on Christmas Day either. There is a half hour gap on Christmas Eve....I reckon it'll go there.

And, where does the early evening News fit in on Christmas Day on BBC1?

I really can't see bake off been on Christmas Day especially after all the fuss what has happened over it. If they stil had the rights to it then maybe but I can see the BBC wanting to get it out the way before Christmas Eve never mind day.

As for ITV showing the lion King I thought channel 4 had the rights to it am sure it been on there this year. Despicable me or minions I would think is more likely

Frozen is 1hr 42mins long and is currently in a 1hr 30 mins slot, going to be a few changes before schedules are confirmed next week.

Yeah, I thought the slot for Frozen was too short! I know it runs faster on TV (films) but 12 minutes shorter is a bit much. I'd have thought it would need at least a 95 minute slot.

Perhaps:

15:00 The Queen
15:10 Film : Frozen
16:45 The Great Christmas Bake Off
17:40 BBC News, weather
17.50 Doctor Who
18:50 Strictly Come Dancing
20.00 Call the Midwife
21:15 Eastenders
22:15 Mrs Browns Boys
22:50 Tracey Ullman's Sketch Show

Anyone know why my Digi Guide only goes up until the 16th?.

Also those times are pretty stupid with hour long programmes starting at half past or 5 to.

Can't see it happening. I think this is just to wind ITV up surely. It might be on them days when Channel 4 get the rights but not this year on BBC one. I will be surprised if it is.

It will update once confirmation is given to slots.

THE SCHEDULING GAME AMENDMENTS

In view of this unexpected surprise of early Christmas schedules (albeit yet to be confirmed), it is not worth asking you to provide schedules for the Christmas period. So, instead, I will extend the deadline until 11pm on Thursday 24th, and ask you instead to devise a schedule for one of the following days:

NEW YEAR'S EVE BBC1
NEW YEAR'S EVE ITV
NEW YEAR'S DAY BBC1
NEW YEAR'S DAY ITV
NEW YEAR'S DAY C4
HOLIDAY MONDAY 2nd JAN BBC1
HOLIDAY MONDAY 2nd JAN ITV

Sorry to make these changes, but I don't believe we've ever had provisional schedules released as early as this year.

The same rules apply as before, just the days to devise your schedule has altered!

Any schedule already received will no longer be valid, so everyone can start afresh and come up with a schedule for any one of the options above. Please PM me your entry as usual.

Yes, what a waste of a slot for such a good programme.

Looks like it's only on the windows version. Will have to wait until they update the website.
