Yeah I know but previously to that Strictly was usually on first. I meant I think they'll revert back to that this year.

That's brilliant thanks

Can't wait for the updated schedules. Do you think they will revise the schedules on Friday or do you think it will be next Monday now?

Friday and then the National schedules have to be signed off by 2.30 next Tuesday while the Regions have until Noon on Wednesday- but the satellite channels may confirm as the days go on so keep checking

53% agree with me!

The most interesting answer (at the time I did the poll) was that 91% get their Christmas TV details from a listings magazine/newspaper! (then again it is on the Radio Times website!)

And with that you're obviously making the assumption that the BBC have released their schedule first when there is no evidence to suggest that. You're also assuming ITV have made no decision until BBC have confirmed their line up.

Whilst Nicholas Lindhurst was excellent as Rodney I think he's been very poor in everything else he's done. Totally unconvincing and he constantly looks like he's about to burst into to tears.

THE SCHEDULING GAME

In view of the fact that we now more or less know what the Christmas schedules are, and there's even speculation that New Year's Day will run:

Monsters University
Peter Pan Goes Wrong
EastEnders
Sherlock
Mrs. Brown's Boys,

I have decided to stop running the competition this year.

Thanks to those who have shown interest, but I think the surprise early provisionals killed the anticipation dead!

I will run the competition next year though, as long as the forums are still here!

So, next year, it will likely start earlier and maybe be a little easier!

Thanks for your support guys.

I will carry forward the prize to the Easter Anagram Eggstravaganza that I will give more details about later in the New Year.

In the meantime, look out for details of the Ratings Game that marke09 will run in a couple of weeks!

Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates seem to have this gig until hell freezes over. That alone means I won't be watching but the line ups for the two shows look pretty much te same. Two doses of Craig David. Christmas has come early. Or not as the case may be

Any provisional listings for TOTP 1982 on BBC4, Mark? I'm assuming it's 22/23 and 29/30 Dec. I'm too old for the current Christmas specials btw. Thanks in advance.

I agree Cel Spellman Greg James and Clara Amfo I think her name is should be presenting Top of the pops now since they are all on Radio 1 and known to the target audience. Plus Cel and Gregg already present the closest thing to a regular top of the pops these day the CBBC chart show.
See no mention of Top of the pops 2 this though I will be surprised if they isn't one
