Lots of people on twitter hated it, I thought it was like most sketch shows hit and miss, I laughed in enough places to make me tune in again next week.

I put mine up last week. "Oh it's too early" I get told. But why is it their concern as to when I put my decorations up? I'm not harming anyone!

I like the build up to Christmas. December is a dark gloomy month. Having the lights twinkling away and everything looking festive is cheery. I have a "lighting up ceremony" when my friends come round and see what my theme is each year. Although, admittedly, the decorations themselves are dimininshing in quantity each year, this year it's tinsel around pictures and a tree, but I do like lots of lights!

My decorations come down on 30th December though. New Year is hard for me to observe joyously as my mum died amongst others at New year. But I do have a "Happy New Year Banner" and some new star lights to put up. I don't like using the Christmas decs for New Year as Christmas depicts joy and New year depicts remembrance in my world.

When people put their decorations up is up to them I agree, I wasn't criticising, we just like them up for a couple of weeks only, it seems more like a special occasion doing it that way.

Anyway back on topic. Channel 5 are starting early with back to back Christmas movies every weekday between 11.45am and 5pm from Monday 5th December.

Your post arrives early! We don't get anything before 11.30am!

I'm hoping mine comes today as they're distributed from Sittingbourne only 6 miles away from me!

This is the annoying thing now that some have had theirs and others havent

Can I ask you both are you on the 12 for £1 offer or do you pay more - perhaps those who are paying more are getting preferential treatment

There endeth that theory then ! I know posting up to 2 and half million mags is a hell of a logistical nightmare but if it can be done on time most weeks of the year why not now - oh well i might get two now same time

Often it's the post office, a storage crate gets out to the side and misses a run, or the lorry etc.

The post office is busy at this time of year and thinks it's early.

my late brother used to manage a sorting office and he told me reason the double issue is always late is that RT don't pay enough postage so the post office class it as second class - Rt pay the same postage rate for the double as they do for the single when it should be much more

Yes I did, but I think it would have been better if they show the titles of each show up on screen. A montage followed by each show by name and clip.

The BBC do this and it works well. I also think ITV should use the IAC final to show the first trailer on New Year programmes, in front of a 10m+ audience.

You are right that it is no-one else's business. But it is over kill that's all. You almost have enough before the Xmas week gets here, what with the tinned music in the shops too. At least our cosy cul-de-suc have the sense not to have the outside lights etc going until usually mid December.
