Need to work out whether I'll need to load up all our family iTunes accounts with £15 vouchers so that everyone has a Christmas RT on their iPads and the week before?
Last year they were £1.99 and £3.99
The radio times has gone up since then I see to £2.29 a week now.

Might not even bother with the 10th to 17th edition this year, its taht little a bit earlier.to make it not worth it.

Have we had any snippets of the cover yet? Not seeing any on the RT site. Im sure its normally about this time.”

Ben Preston tweeted about the SCD Xmas Special and the RT Xmas issue and correlated the two. Posts were an indirect response to that. Besides, this is more an adhoc miscellaneous TV discussion thread that has the Xmas RT as its focus point, so all kinds of discussion are welcome here! The irrelevant discussions tinker away naturally.

Random but I wonder if Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events (film) will be on at all? I want to see it before the series comes out on Netflix in January.

Swear I've seen it air on tv before

Is the RT Christmas Edition available on 3rd and is it generally cheaper than the print copy?

God knows! But it must have meant something. Did you edit your post? Otherwise I haven't a clue and must have quoted your post by mistake instead of someone else's.

No there is another one 10 - 16 December 2016 before the double issue.

Anyone got a link to the cover of the 3- 9 Dec issue?

I think the double issue will be £5.00 to buy in the shops. And then £2.50 in January.

Dont forget you can RT much cheaper by subscrbiing.

if your local library subscribes to zino magazine collection and does e-zines then you can read most of the TV listings for free online, download and print

I wonder if BBC1 will give us a Christmas teaser trailer in the next few days?

Last year on 27th November they gave us the "Christmas Begins 1st December" promo and had Sprout Boy walking through a door.

Is anyone expecting a cover teaser competition to start on the website tomorrow?

wel they are well behind ITV who are trailing their programming - perhaps before or more likely between Strictly and Planet Earth tonight - the two most watched programmes on BBC

It is expected (via rumours from insiders) that BBC1 will go into Christmas mode next Sunday - 4th December. I would hope we get an idea of their festive theme before then.

If that was ITV effort before the X Factor BBCs Santa's Head one would be an improvement.
