Is that the animated one from the makers of the The Snowman?

Also - can anyone remember what the thing is that will be aired on Ch4 tonight during one of the breaks in The Humans? I saw a screen the other day saying something would be aired and I can't remember what it is.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Of course, even if a month is colder than average overall, it doesn't guarantee a particular day will be cold, and we'll need that before we even start to think about the risk of snow, but the signs are positive.

Christmas weather forecast
We're still using the CFS (climate forecast system) charts at this stage, until the medium range models come in to play during December, and again this week we've seen a trend for cold weather around the Christmas period. In fact this model, and a number of other signals are pointing towards cold air being with us for a good part of the second half of the December. This particular run brings cold air south during Xmas day, with the blue colour indicating a risk of snow - but don't forget we're just looking for trends at this stage.

That line always grates on me. If someone spots copies in the shops on December 3rd, their subscriber copy will most definitely not be on its way, because it will still be several days away from being posted.

From what I have read -
It's only London that will have guides in the shops on the 3rd - and the rest of the country between the 7th and the 9th - which makes sense -

Because there are regional variations to account for, it sounds very much like the London region will be rushed out to get it into the shops as soon as possible, obviously it takes time to print the variations and deliver to the rest of the country - but several days does make me wonder if it is possible that the London issue may still have some TBA slots?

According to the Radio Times website it's London and the South East who should have the Christmas issue available from Saturday 3rd December.

They have never issued one with "TBA's" in !

The schedules for the Network have to be finalised by 2pm Tomorrow afternoon - seeing as London and the South East will have very few opt outs it will be printed first

BBC Scotland NI and Wales' schedules are not finalised until noon on Wednesday so with more variations to the English editions will be later printing

My radio Times for Dec 3 - 9 has arrived this morning - makes me think its Post Office fault as I doubt RT posted them on Saturday as the subscription office is closed

I live in Wigan and have known in recent years for the Christmas Total TV Guide to come out on the Saturday before the official release date, although last year it came out on the Monday.

I will try and grab my copy on Saturday though. Fingers crossed it will be released early up here

The double issue in Wales where I come from arrives in the shops around about the 9th and 10th of December.

Harry Potter is always popular on ITV, I'm glad they've saved it for Christmas week though instead of starting in early November.

That is ITV's best Christmas Day schedule in years. Great to see them actually putting in some solid effort with some good films, and programming.

You don't like Disney's The Lion King then? I think its ITV's best Christmas Day Schedule in years. What would you have scheduled on Christmas Day then?

The evening schedule is soap heavy. Whilst "Farewell Hilda"is a nice touch, it is obviously going to be CS heavy. Maybe they could have had that on a different day.
