That's good news.
I love the Royle Family. Hope it happens.

I do enjoy watching The Royle Family, but if it does come back I hope it's back to the form of 2010's episode rather than 2012's. But, I guess it's good to get anything, AND, it will make Christmas Day feel slightly different this year.

We should know the Easter schedules by the end of next week. Can you believe it's almost Easter already? Christmas will be here before we know it.

I'm not sure about the TV Times, but the first Radio Times to carry ITV and Channel 4 was actually the previous week's (albeit only on the Friday); it had Arnold Schwarzenegger on the cover.

Yes, the week prior to the 2nd March, the RT actually had the layout on the listings pages for ITV and C4. It was full of "It It's On, It's IN!" comments and "Corrie in RT?" ads. The restrictions were lifted on 1st March which is why the RT had the new look up and running on the Friday.

The 2nd March was the first full edition to feature all listings for all channels.

Nice link, thanks.
Cover price 50p.......those were the days.
I still buy it every week though, premium product in my eyes.

I think wizzywick will like this - Sally wainwright in an interview on the Whats on Tv website says that she and the cast want to do more Last Tango and has ideas for series 3 of Happy Valley but that has not been commissioned yet

Tony Jordan also says that he has scripts ready to go for a second 20 part Dickensian

I read that Sarah Lancashire doesn't want to do a third series of Happy Valley. But if there is a third series I won't complain.

If Dickensian is brought back, it should air on Sundays next winter.

5.30pm Countryfile
6.30pm Dickensian
7.00pm Still Open All Hours
7.30pm Dickensian
8.00 Call The Midwife
9.00 Last Tango in Halifax

How about that for a killer schedule ?

Guys, I can now reveal that the prize for my quiz later this year is a package of 4 brand new, Radio Times related items. I will reveal one item every month so this month, the first part of the prize is:

A poster of a classic Christmas cover from the 1950's.

Each month the prize that will be revealed will be bigger!

So, find out next month what else you can win!

Well lets hope the rest of the Easter Weekend will be a bit better than Good Friday on BBC One - no film in the afternoon just the normal fare being shown a t different times and the evening is the same as well except for Masterchef, Bloomers and Mrs Brown's Boys from 8.30pm

Easter weekend, there will be no Match of the Day on the Saturday, any chance of a film after the news.

Going back to when the RT and TV Times, started covering all the channels, was a sad time, as I used to enjoy having 2 magazines given to me by my gran, and then it went to one.

I guess for Easter there is no hope. Of a Easter Themed cover.

A cover with some, daffodils, Chickens and Eggs would be lovely

They surprised us last year with a lovely cover so fingers crossed

II used to work in a newsagent back in 1991 and the number of people who still bought both after the changeover was amazing even at Christmas time when it was planted on the front covers that they had listings for all channels - in the end we stopped telling them - and this went on for years for the once a year buyers

The first Christmas I think I had both, Because of being disabled and unable to get in our local paper shop, I don't think I told my Gran, she didn't need to buy me both at Christmas

Yeah! Dire Good Friday programming from BBC1 isn't it? Why did they decide not to bother with Easter anymore? Even having an afternoon movie would have been something.

Adam Crozier mightn't approve of a film.
