It was enjoyable if you accepted it was all scripted like X Factor / Pantomime.

I see another HP film in peak time, the repeats are staying around longer than the Christmas Day Turkey.”

.........and The Apprentice Funny you never mention TA when you refer to scripted reality shows. I wonder why......

Harry Potter hasn't been on ITV in 2 years. So if you call that 'frequent', then BBC1 must be winning the repeat MBB and Indiana Jones V Harry Potter record.

The cover is actually a "We're Going on a Bear Hunt"* cover but done in a traditional style so it could come in either category A or category B!

*in very small writing to the bottom right of the tree it says "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" exclusive for Radio Times - the bear is featured top right.

So onto the winner of this year's competition!

Having carefully considered all answers the following two stood out :

A.D.P

A) A large snowman close up, wide mouth, carrot nose

and

maddogscott

B) picture from we're going on a bear hunt animation, so unchristmassy it will instantly supercede last years cover as the worst ever.

THE WINNER

Although maddogscott was the only one to mention it would be a "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" he also said it would be "UnChristmassy" which it certainly isn't!

So it's an honourable 2nd place for Maddogscott but first place goes to A.D.P as it certainly does feature a large snowman close up, wide mouth, carrot nose!

so congratulations to

A.D.P

It's true but you seem to have switched off Private messaging, so could you e-mail your address to UKChristmasTV42 at gmail.com so I can send you your prize.

But a scene from a TV programme is a bit less detailed than describing what will be on the cover. A close up of a snowman with a wide mouth and a carrot for a nose - is more detailed - and not a guarantee because it could just as easily have been a reindeer or Santa or any number of other things.

Although theres usually a 12 issues for £1 offer for subscribers on in October or November most years including this year. Haven't paid full price for he Christmas issue for a good few years thanks to this

Congratulations! A new champion! When you start the thread for 2017, be sure to mention all the things to look out for next year - PLUS, it might be nice to take into consideration the fact that it's the tenth anniversary of the thread!

As I said above I'll send him a bonus prize.

Didnt realise it will the tenth anniversary, maybe when the thread starts up properly in January, maybe those who have maybe used it since Year 1, if there are any, could give memories especially with the owners of Digtial Spy on about Downsizing
