Tasteful. They've gone for stags and holly borders, and hidden bears because of 'We're going on a Bear Hunt'.

I just popped around the corner to get a paper from the local Costcutter convenience store and they had the double issue RT on sale, I'm in the West Midlands. They also had the Christmas TV Choice even though it isn't supposed to be out until December 6th, that's only £1!

Finally there's a free 12 day Christmas TV guide in tomorrow's Sunday Mirror apparently, which I assume will include the new year's eve and day schedules.

If they do include the New year schedule then it will be full of TBA as even digiguide hasn't got the schedules yet - the first draft schedules aren't out until Monday and the final ones on Thursday

Congratulations ADP! It's a lovely cover, much prefer it to last year's & year before. I think it'll be Wednesday before I get a copy.

Wishing my life away, but can't wait to start guessing next year's cover!

That GBBO link has confused me, do both episodes have a winner, or is the overall winner of both days announced on Boxing Day

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is the Christmas TV Times released today too? And if so, does it cover the same period? (17th - 30th Dec) thanks

You're probably right actually thinking about it. The 12 days may be December 19th-30th.

I know it's a Christmas special but, considering when it was actually recorded, it seems to be a bit daft the have Christmas decorations up the tent!

Will wait until I get a copy in my hand before commenting on the front cover.

I suspect it will be later in the week before it arrives in Edinburgh, so will wait until next Friday before buying it.

Have any of the digital editions appeared?

So it's available freely to buy in the shops but those who are loyal to the mag and subscribe to it and would therefore it would be fair to assume that they would be treated with loyalty back, havent received it yet!!

Not as yet, which has surprised me, as I said to you the other day, last year it appeared on the Friday Night.

Subscribers never get the Christmas edition early but im still waiting on Dec 10 - 16 edition which has been in the shops since Thursday and Clares Dad is still waiting for December 3 - 9! Previous years these issues have arrived before they appear in the shops - will see what happens on the 23rd and 10th January when things go back to normal before cancelling or continuing

If you subscribe to most magazines you often get them a day earlier than they appear in the shop.

You would have thought RT and the other magazines would try to do this.

If I hadn't received a magazine which would start today, Id have phoned them up

Which Tesco? I live right next to Hamilton, thinking of going up if they have TV Choice.

Problem with the RT and the others are that they cant be posted out earlier than a Monday - due to POs being closed and their subscription department closed and the printing doesn't end until Monday anyway
