The film, I think, is just to say "Hello, it's Christmas" and I have a feeling that the idents themselves will feature the gold end board and sparkly animations. The "bauble" could just be the News ident. Perhaps! Maybe! Who knows?

Still no digital copy on the app. Seems odd.

It's really not to hard to make sure you have picked up the right copy of the magasine for the correct week to see what is on that day. Please let me know if you need any help with this and I'll happily send my 13 year old over to help you, for a fee.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a cheap TV guide magazine for me to get while I wait for the Radio times to arrive.

I thought this was quite amusing.

15 struggles you face if you love Christmas but your partner doesn’t:-

I suspect most papers will offer the same thing next week! You'll probably find a nice guide in a nice paper!

No such thing as a "nice" newspaper these days!

Well, that is so true.

As a side issue, is anyone else experiencing annoying incidents when they're on DS and a wretched Mastercard advert buggers up the screen?

Why not use an adblocker?

Just putting our Christmas decorations up, we didn't have many last year because of our new kitten, now he's a bit older decided to "risk" it

Must be too much effort for them to spend 30 seconds uploading a file to their server.

My little girl cat is now 14. Her first Christmas in 2002 was a nightmare. I had more Christmas tree decorations off the tree than on that year that my decs all came down on Boxing Day. Up until 2005 she used to bite through the wire of the lights. Cost me a fortune in lights back then. Wouldn't have had it any other way though. Cats bring so much joy into your home, the sacrifices are worth it.

Thankfully, she's not bothered anymore.

I put my tree up a couple of weeks ago and I do have an 8 year old fluffy black tom too. The other day his face and fur was covered in glitter and 'snow' from the tree branches. There were baubles around the tree on the floor which were on the tree previously.

I said "Sammy! What have you been up to" And he looked at me, covered in festive shine, as if to say "Me? Nowt! I've not done anything at all!"

What do you think? I think it look great.

I usually buy both RT and TVT at Christmas. And have done for 30 years!

TV Choice is £1 for the double issue and as a listings guide is OK for the money, all the channels most people would watch are covered.

I'll take a look in Asda to see what's in.
Are they freely available around the country today?

Should be as they don't do "regional" issues as such
