What do you think? I think it look great.

I usually buy both RT and TVT at Christmas. And have done for 30 years!”

I'm guessing it's because it is the original guide that focused solely on TV listings rather than Radio Listings that just included TV listings.

Ronnie Corbett's daughter interviewed in todays paper says the BBC are planning a tribute to him this Christmas - not sure it's been scheduled yet so must be over New Year

Are they freely available around the country today?”

They had them in my local Costcutter convenience store yesterday so they should be widely available everywhere now.

Is there by chance a TV listing magazine that includes the "Talking Pictures" channel? Ta in advance.

Went to Asda, nothing apart from Total TV Guide.

So I ended up buying a bottle of malt whisky instead.
Weird thing, they forgot to take the tag off. I walked out of the shop, the alarm went off but the security guard didn't even bat an eyelid.

He's probably lost to will to live by this point!
Surprised you couldn't get a TV Choice though, anyway back to Christmas TV.

Looks like Channel 5 is the place to be for classic movies. Over the Christmas week they have, to name a few:

Dr Zhivago
The Vikings
Jason & The Argonauts
Scrooge(1951)
The Wizard Of Oz
West Side Story
& The African Queen.

Still waiting for my 10-16 Dec issue.

I e-mailed to ask why they were sending them by Second Class post, but they said they couldn't tell me for data protection reasons.

That's because each stamp has its own name and address and revealing their reasons might inadvertently reveal where Simon Stamp lives. His brother Frankie Frank-Mark has already had to rehoused!

That trail with the acoustic cover of "Merry Christmas Everyone" is basically BBC One doing their own John Lewis Christmas advert, isn't it?

BBC One is looking a little bit bland with it's Christmas presentation.

I'm also not that keen on 'BBC Oneness' to be honest.

I think it's an unusual departure from what we generally expect from the beeb. I quite like the idea of an ident set rather than a usual singular ident. And, with the probable few different ones, there is a chance people will find them less annoying!
