Still no RT in post..
Same here, got Total TV Guide at the weekend and pleased to see radio listings are back, main reason why I stopped buying it.

Sounds like the type of films BBC One would normally show. Good films though

this is my christmas tv verdict for 2016 .

looking through radio times ,this is what i have drumed up
SAT 17 usal films hit /miss for me as some i already have on dvd
SUN 18 not much to ride home about ,humans & planet earth 2 are the 2 key programmes for me
MON 19 another dry day for me only key one for me is top of the pops 2 christmas ,it will have the same old stuff on it ,but with maybe a few extras that have come out recently, probably worth taping.dond on tour might be good ,i will be the judge of that when i watch it.
TUE 20 looking at it totally nothing to my taste but BBC4 showing inside cherobyl mega tomb,it might be worth watching ,but not recording . but looking at it ,might be wed not tuesday? then wednesday is crap for me all round.

THURS 22 again crap for tv ,only one is who do you think you are? this for me is ok ,but alot depends on whos being shown ,& how well i know the celeb in question.tonight on itv has a kind of review of the year programme it apears ? bit like what BBC one did back in the day ,but the dropped it & broke it up into sections & stuffed it on BBC news channel ,well i guess it was news ,after all ,just a shame they had to brake it up .
FRI 23 again not good for tv in my view ,but a len G leaving SCD doc ,might be worth watching? & inside the christmas factory ,yep not bad ,got the 1st 3 programmes on disc ,i'll add that to the collection. top of the pops 1982 as always number one for me.
ok now for the big one .

CHRISTMAS EVE midnight mass ,yes i do watch it ,its not that interesting ,but helps to lift my spirit ,gets me in the mood ,for one day. blankerty blank ,i will watch it,just to see how this works on itv, through the keyhole yes KL is funny in this ,love him or louth him ,i find he brings entertainment to the programme ,which is more than can be said for the other two years ago,no diserespect. totp christmas hits , though i have got a few BBC 4 repoeats on disc ,i will view this to see whats there & what i can add.
CHRISTMAS DAY bbc one yes usal line up ,no change ,wil record top of the pops christmas sp, watch the queen at 3,frosen i take it is the BIG christmas day film ,oh yippe NOT. doctor who ,top marks ,were going on a bear hunt ,i will record that,
BOXIING DAY nothing for me
TUESDAY apart from a few worthy films again much like tuesday
WED 28 theres a few ,dragons den,& pop quiz & a few good films
THURSDAY nothing
& FINALLY FRIDAY 30 noels sell or swap live & top of the pops 1982, is NSorS acturly live? i get the feeling the programme was pre-recorded?

overal general feeling of christmas tv 2016 30% worth watching/recording ,the rest can go in the bin

I understand there is a swap on offer, a Frankie has said she wants to swap a Wayne ,recently seen in the jungle for three weeks, for a man who can keep his trap shut, or a goat.

Still no double issue for me.

2nd January does look rubbish, but that doesn't bother me. I almost never watch TV live as I record it, so I expect that week I'll be catching up from missed programmes from the week before!

Very sadly, as you may know, Greg Lake died today age 69.

There is a campaign to get I Believe in Father Christmas got into the charts again this year.

I think it would be really nice if it did.

I have downloaded it today - what about you guys ?

Apparently today is National Christmas Tree Day (love to meet the person who comes up with these so called days) - not really sure what we are suppose to do on National Christmas Tree Day
The daft thing about these days is you hear about them later on that day or the day after.
Google failed to show much about it.

Bought this as a single in 1975, still have it.
Its on my Spotify playlist too.
Never made No1 originally as Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody was top of the charts.
The b side is called Humbug.

What a shame about Greg Lake. I love "I believe in Father Christmas"

Does anyone know if there's a website where I can search programmes by name to see if they'll be on? I'm hoping to catch Nativity 3 - dude where's my donkey, over Christmas. My daughter loves it.

Dude Where's My Donkey is 95 minutes of my life that I will never ever get back! The first two Nativity! films are uplifting. The third is just embarrassing. Still, my niece loves it soI guess it appeals to those who it is meant to appeal to.
