I wonder whether claires_dad will get a reply sooner rather than later regarding his programme listings dates for the 2016 issue. Past experience 99% suggests it will be 17th - 30th December.
As a side issue, where I work, we have all our Christmas 2015 issues still on sale. Plus we have an unopened bundle too that looks likely to be sent back. In my opinion, as much as the cover is fun and festive, it just doesn't look like a premium listings magazine when it's sat next to TVTimes, Total TV Guide or TV and Satellite Week. The covers on all three of those magazines are all much nicer. Plus, customers have said "What? Oh, I'll leave it then" when I tell them that it's £4.00. Could the 2015 issue be the lowest selling issue of all time? When will the figures be released? ![]() But held off buying this years so far, £4.00 feels a lot of money for something that some newspapers (Sunday Times Culture) does. A listing of national to and radio. The only thing RT does that freebies and others do not,.are local radio and some national commercial radio listings. |

August 21 - 16 October - wizzywicks Christmas TV quiz
Perhaps the date has changed and I've missed the posting? Please advise so that I can, if necessary, change the date in my calendar. As well as the ‘countdown to the quiz’ dates! Thank you very much. |

Surprisingly, I don't have any idea as to how many are in a bundle but it looks as though it is about 30. We get ours sent automatically based on the previous years sales, but my boss generally puts all the papers and magazines out rather than the staff - simply because he lives above the shop so is always up at 4.00am.

I'm sorry, but I think it's a little sanctimonious, and quite frankly laughable, that you got the name of the thread starter changed just to suit your little games. We all know that TheSubaru2012 was the real starter of this thread, whether you like it or not. It doesn't change the fact that I like all of you, and that the threads each year are generally excellent, but really guys? Come on!

Mrs Brown's Boys 8.37 2. Downton Abbey 7.83 3. Call The Midwife 7.10 4. Strictly Come Dancing 6.58 5. Dr Who 5.82 |

When i worked in a newsagent the Christmas issue was bundles of 20 rather than the normal 24!
I went in a different shop, and spotted 13 copies yesterday (yes, I counted them! ), so I'll report back on how many are left the next time I go in there!

Mods - can you please just delete this thread so we can start again properly.
I assume the majority would support that. |

Was in my local Tesco this morning and they'd at least 30 RT stacked in a neat pile not to mention those in the shelf with other guides nearly sold out. Looks like the RT returns skip will be full come New Year.

It seems that the credit crunch of the late noughties made people more money savvy and even a pretigious product name is no longer enough to guarantee huge sales. If the RT can't generate new readers from the Xmas issue, then what on earth is its long term future? |
